I thought I would show some stamped cards I made a couple of weeks ago. These two cards are made with Stampin Up Stippled Blossoms stamp set. Its a two step stamping technique. the first stamped layer is a solid stamp, and you stamp it in a lighter colour, then use the second stamp in a darker colour over the top to get a more defined image. On the left I used stampin up inks – daffodil delight and tangerine tango, and on the card on the right I used stampin up rasberry ripple and primrose petals. The leaves were done with garden green and pistachio pudding inks. I used an E K Success punch on both cards. Still struggling with this rotten cold, so it’s been a lazy day for me! Til tomorrow….

My Favourite stamped card!
I loved making this card! Everything I have used here is Stampin up products except for the button and script stamp. Cardstock is Night of Navy and Very vanilla, the stamp set is Countryside, and the inks I used were Baja Breeze and Night of navy. I wrapped the top layer with linen thread. Once I had stamped the script stamp on the vanilla cardstock I coloured it lightly with ink. There is a layer there that I ran through my card crimper to get that cardboard box look. I enjoyed making this card so much taht I made a another one in a different colourway with a different stamp and I will show that one tomorrow… til tomorrow….
zoo babies welcome baby cards

To finish off this series I have done a few welcome baby cards. The stamp set is Stampin Up zoo Babies, and the ink, and cardstock are also from stampin up. The embossing folder on the boys cards is from stampin Up – hexagons, and I am not too sure of the girl card embossing folder, but possibly couture creations!.tomorrow we will start a new series, today I visited paper flourish and picked up two new kaisercraft collections – hello sunshine and telegraph road, but probably won’t get a chance to create with them this week,as I am a bit busy organising myself for my trip to Perth at the weekend. til tomorrow….
Zoo Babies number 2
Stampin Up zoo babies stamp set, certainly celery cardstock, and choc chip and so saffron ink pads. The embossing folder is by cuttlebug, and the scalloped rectangles are spellbinders. Another very very hot day today, so I am not getting very far with my order! It appears that it is going to be a little cooler tomorrow so hopefully I will get it finished then, but a trip up to paper flourish is also on the agenda to have a look at the new kaisercraft papers, and maybe buy some! Til tomorrow..
Zoo Babies
the next few cards are ones I made with one stamp set from Stampin Up – Zoo Babies.the embossing folder I used here is a cuttlebug folder, and I used spellbinders scalloped rectangles dies, and everything else is from Stampin Up . Inks used were soft sky and midnight muse, as was the cardstock ( along with whisper white). I hand cut a banner and the stamps used on the banner were from the stampin up memorable moments set. Another hot day here but have managed to make a few cards – I have an order to fulfil otherwise I would be sitting under the air conditioner duct! Til tomorrow….

Stampin Up Afternoon Picnic number 4
Still with Stampin Up Afternoon Picnic designer series paper, and another colour way. This time I did a 6″ by 6″ card, and made an envelope using my memory keepers envelope maker. Used the smallest size, and popped a tea bag inside it.I fussy cut some of the images from the paper, and die cut the word relax using a Die- Versions die – editor-in chief die. I turned back the paper to leave a pocket for the envelope, and added aribbon bow. Today I have put aside the christmas stash and have been working on some mens cards, and a couple of birthday cards for family members, al in all a nice crafty day! til tomorrow…
