Childrens cards..

I love these little critters in the Story Garden collection by Uniquely Creative! The book die fits the theme so well as well, and I used a little vellum and an old dictionary to die cut. My creativity seems to be all over the place lately and you will have to bear with me if I seem to jump from collection to collection and back again! I have preparing for the fair in June ! Yes! After two years it it is back and I am sorting out all my boxes, and making any cards to fill any gaps although to be quite honest, I have a lot of stock, and I am preparing a box for charity as well. This month will be all about organising myself! Til next time, stay safe…

Dads 90th Birthday card

One card this week! It is a very special card because it was for my dads 90th birthday. He is an avid reader and his birthday present included some books so I made him a bookmark, with a special vellum pocket on the second panel of the three panel card to pop it in. Everything I have used, including the bookmark die and tassels come from Uniquely Creative. The paper is from a collection of theirs called The Story Garden. Next week ..more cards made with this collection… I hope you have all had a safe, and happy Easter..til next time , stay safe..

Last of the Seize the day cards..

Back today with some cards made with Uniquely Creative Seize the day papers. These ones are a little more intricate than last weeks ones, with more layering, fussy cutting and bits and pieces added. The top card has some watered down ink sprayed for the background..I do like this effect, I used to do it a lot but somehow got out of the habit. Funny how you move on from things.. Cleaning out my craft room I came across some old border stickers. I used to use them all the time but haven’t done so for years now, but I am coming up with some new ways to use them..stay tuned! Til next time, stay safe..

Uniquely Creative Wild part 1..

This week i have created a few boys cards, with Uniquely creative Wild paper collection. I have added chipboard stars, the matching creative cuts, and a couple of the Wild flairs. The third card is a step card, a design I hadn’t done for a while, so thought I would revisit! here at home we are up to day five of our self isolation after the return from Sydney of my husband and son. It is terrific to have them back, but didn’t realise how small my house is. Crafting will keep me sane…. til next time, stay safe…

Uniquely Creative Dreamer Part 3…

Two final cards today made with uniquely Creative Dreamer paper collection. For the first card I die cut a file die ( UC brand) and decorated inside and out. the second image shows the inside decoration. The third image is a very simple card using some of the matching Creative cuts that are available with this collection. I have thoroughly enjoyed making these pretty in pink cards, next time there are some for the boys! Happy new year to all…Til next time, stay safe.

Uniquely Creative Dreamer part 2…

The images in this paper collection are so cute, I’ve done a little fussy cutting, and I had these white cardstock frames on my desk from another project which I thought would make a great start on a couple of shaker cards. I used Acetate for the windows, and filled with uniquely Creative craft sprinkles. I haven’t made shaker cards before, but I am happy with the result.Well, that’s Christmas over for another year, and a strange one it was. My husband was over in Sydney with one son, while I stayed here in Adelaide with the other. The good news is just a week until they are back here with us, and we will celebrate then! Til Next Time, stay safe……

Uniquely Creative Dreamer part 1..

I oreder an Advent kit from Uniquely Creative..there are 25 envelopes in it and you open one each day. The first envelope was this gorgous Dreamer paper collection, and these cards have been made with the first few envelopes. the second envelope was matching creative cuts. It is great fun opening an envelope with crafting goodies every day but I admit I opened them all at once! Dont judge me – I couldn’t resist! But in keeping with the spirit of the game I am only using the relevant envelopes so that I dont give away any surprises. The last card here is a slimline card. Now to the exciting news ..my son Daniel is coming back from Sydney to live here! He accepted a job offer here in his home town, and so i have been clearing out my card room/ craft storage area so that he can stay with us until he settles back home and gets his own place so at the moment most of my craft equipment is in the shed. Oh well, a very small price to pay to have him safe at home again. Til next time, stay safe ….

Uniquely Creative Something Blue part 2…

Another three cards made with Uniquely Creative Something Blue. All the bits and pieces on these cards were in the creative kit,but everything is also available individually on their website. I love the cool colours in this range.. just what we need today when our temperature is so hot..over 38C ! A cool crafting day for me! Til next time, stay safe…

Uniquely Creative Something Blue

This week I received the new Uniquely Creative paper collection and ephemera for November. It’s called Something Blue, very pretty with lots of fussy cutting potential! These are the first three cards I have made, just the papers, a little cardstock a touch of lace and a couple of wooden embellishments. The last card is a slim line card..I have been trying these out, and I like them! Til next time..stay safe…

Uniquely Creative Holly Joly Christmas..

This weeks cards are all made from Uniquely Creative new paper collection called Holly Jolly Christmas. I havent added too much to these, just a few fabric flowers, and a little touch of gold glitter card. The last card was an experiment trying out a slimline card. I have seen these around a lot lately, seems to be the new big thing so thought I would try one. You use a little more cardstock making them, but they fir into a business size envelope, and in Australia cost the same as a letter to post, so just something else to add to the usual sizes, for some diversity!Til next time, stay safe….
