This is a very simple Christmas card inspired in part by Pinterest.round right hand corners of base card and layering card, die cut two stars ( Spellbinders die) from the layering card, stick some scrap glitter card behind aperture, and add ribbon and bows, stick onto front of base card, stamp greeting ( stampin up stamp) and die cut two smaller stars ( stampin up dies) to finish.Quick and easy! Next year I will be making more of these in a variety of colours..just wish I had tried it earlier this year! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Silent night 7.
Todays card is a Christmas card made with kaisercraft Silent Night. I have posted a few cards made with this paper collection a few weeks back and this one missed out for some technical reason!I have used some of the matching collectables, inked around all the edges with Tea dye distress ink,and added a gold cord bow. I only have a few Christmas cards left in the queue so over the next couple of days I will post them and then we will put Christmas makes 2016 behind us! I have been slowly making weding cards with Kaisercraft new paper collection – PS I love you, and discovered when I had finished them that they would be too bulky for envelopes so I have been busy making boxes for them..that will teach me to get carried away with embellishing! Wedding and baby cards are my favourite cards to make – What is your favourite card make? Til tomorrow….
Religious Christmas card..
Mum purchased this die by Kaisercraft and cut me a couple of shapes, and I couldnt resist teaming it up with my Stampin Up Starlight dies and stamps. The cardstock is Stamp[in Up,and the little snowflake bling was from Paper flourish – I have stocked up on these snowflakes so that I can start on Christmas cards earlier next year! Til tomorrow….
Special Christmas card..
A quick visit back to Christmas cards, and this one was made with someone special in mind – she doesn’t like the traditional colours, so each year I get to experiment with non Christmas colours. This is this years one – the paper is from Stampin Up, and the dies are Kaisercraft. I backed the died outline with silver cardstock, ( the actual dies were cut out of black glitter card) and added some silver cord.Til tomorrow…..
Prima Swet Peppermint 7 and 8..
We are very close to finished my prima Sweet Peppermint card collection..One more post after this one, and then we will move on to some gorgeous Graphic 45 papers ( not Christmas!)Once again, not much more is needed with this collection of papers and matching chipboard pieces, just a little bling and ribbon. The silver glitter strips on the bottom card are from Kaisercraft.Quick post today.. Til tomorrow….
Prima Sweet peppermint continued..
Continuing on with Prima Sweet peppermint, the top card makes use of the collectables pack which also had the sequins in it, and I slipped a little scrap glitter cardstock between the layers for some twinkle. The bottom card has a Christmas tree die cut with a kaisercraft die – I had just purchased this die and wanted to try it out, and I love it, but sadly it wasn’t too long after this that I injured my shoulder and all further die cutting went out the window, so this die will keep until next christmas! I am visiting Mum and dad today, with my sister as we do every weekend, but today I am taking a box of cardstock and dies and embossing folders and I will ask my mum and sister to do some die cutting for me as I have a large Christmas card order to prepare. Thankfully my Dr. tells me we are aiming for back to normal by christmas day! Til tomorrow….
Prima Sweet Peppermint
Today we start a new series, Christmas cards made with Prima Sweet Peppermint.I purchased a few sheets of the 12 x 12 paper, and a bag of the chipboard collectables and for all the cards I made I only added some trim and kindyglitz for texture and sparkle.I edged around all my edges with Tea Dye distress ink as some of the background papers got lost next to each other, and inked edges helps solve that problem. This morning I am off to teach my class at Paper Flourish and I am so looking forward to catching up with everyone! Til tomorow….
Back to Christmas!
This is one of my favourite Christmas cards from this years’ makes. All supplies are from Stampin Up except for the bling, and the paper is a retired collection ( from stampin up) but I liked it so much last year I bought more for this years makes. This card and the next 2 I will show over the next couple of days were made for a village class I did a couple of weeks ago. I am back from my short break away to visit my son and his partner in Sydney, We had a lovely time, and the weather was good,my shoulder is still no good so I am now back off to the Dr to see what else he can do for me,I guess the craft room is still a no-go zone. Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 St. Nicholas 3 and 4..
Here are the other two cards I made with Graphic 45 St. Nicholas paper collection. I had to pack that paper away to work on some orders, and I haven’t got back to it yet.On the top card I did something a little different – I used border stickers to frame the main image, while the bottom card has a little bit of fussy cutting. I think we will take a bit of a break from all things christmas next time and have a look at a few other cards I have been making!Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft silent night 5 and 6
The last two Kaisercraft Silent Night collection cards for now. I have done more but they are not photographed yet! The top card has a mixture of paper pad and 12 x 12 sheets, and the bottom card is all 12 x 12 papers. Sop easy to create cards with this collection ,the only addition needed is a couple of ribbon bows and bling for interest and texture.Quick post today as I am off to teach a village lesson, a difficult one today as one of my ladies passed away last week.We will miss Jean. xx
