kaisercraft silver bells number 4
Kaisercraft Silver Bells paper collection and collectables. Again I have folded the front of my card base ( stampin Up cardstock) back on itself, and decorated with some of the paper from the 6″ pad. I edged all my paper with tea dye distress ink, and added a strip of lace and a ribbon bow to finish. a beautiful sunny day here in adelaide today, and Nathan has been outside picking bags and bags of lemons. We have enough lemon juice frozen to keep us in lemon cordial for a year, and have given many bags away.Thankfully we are nearly at the end of them now, and all the other fruit trees have lots of blossom so hoping for a bumper year this year! Kaisercraft Silver Bells number 3…
Kaisercraft Silver Bells once again, this time the pink tones of the paper. I used the papers from the 6″ pad for this one, and as for the previous card folded the front of the card back on itself.Inside I used an image from a 12 x 12 paper ( which had room on it for writing your greeting)and added lace and ribbon. I also edged all around all the papers with tea dye distress ink. it was good to catch up with all my ladies at a lesson today, and one day of work tomorrow then the weekend! Til tomorow….
Kaisercraft Silver bells 2..
I made a few cards with this paper (kaisercraft Silver Bells) where I folded the card front back on itself and decorated – just for something a bit different! The card front and inner back is decorated with a piece of the 6″pad and I used a collectable for the focal point. A piece of 12 x 12 paper is stuck inside the inner back so that you can write your greeting. I like this – no inserts to do! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft silver bells number 1.
Today we make a start on my Kaisercraft Silver Bells collection. I have made a lot with this collection, so we will probably divide the viewing into a few groups over the next few weeks so as not to bore you all to tears!I bought the 6″ pad, a sheet each of the 12 x 12 papers( one of them is a whole sheet of baubles which I fussy cut out) and a packet of the collectables. This particular card is stampin up cardstock,a layer of 12 x 12 paper, and a couple of the collectables. I inked all my edges with tea dye distress ink, and added a piece of ribbon and lace to the bottom. The sentiment is from a piece of the 12Â x 12 paper. Most of these cards will be kept for my personal use as I really love this paper! Til tomorrow…..
A wish for Peace stamp set
Every year one of the first Christmas cards I make is with this stamp set from Stampin Up called A wish for Peace. It’s quite a few years old, but I like the challenge of finding something new to do with it every year. This year I used Stampin up cardstock and embossed the top layer with a cuttlebug Christmas folder after die cutting a circle from the middle of it. I stamped the image on the base card, and added lots of glitter to it once the ink had dried. The holly was die cut with a sizzix die. This was a simple make and would work with lots of my Christmas stamps.A few christmas items trickling through now, and I have spent all weekend working with Kaisercraft silver bells paper collection – My favourite so far this year! til tomorrow….
Qick and easy Christmas card
Here is a quick and easy Christmas card using non-christmas bits and pieces. Die cut ( or punch) a circle, punch out a handful of leaves, stick them around the circle, add sequins, a ribbon bow and a happy christmas sticker and done! You could step it up by adding an embossed or patterned paper layer underneath, but some of my customers like the simple ones for their xmas cards which is why this one was made. I am back in the craft room this afternoon making more christmas cards with the kaisercraft silver bells collection. This paper collection is my favourite so far this season, and the ideas keep coming! Til tomorrow….
simple Christmas card and a step up..

Here are a couple of Christmas cards, using the same dies, but the top card is the simple version and the lower card is a stepped up version. The two dies used are Kaisercraft dies ( love them – they cut so well) Poinsetta die and season greetings die.(the lower card uses the merry christmas die) I cut the poinsetta from pearlescent paper which gives it a lovely sheen. the lower card step up…a layered white piece of cardstock embossed with swiss dots folder,a run of cream/gold ribbon, and a kaisercraft sparklet in the centre of the poinsetta. the piece of music patterned paper is a kaisercraft piece from one of last years releases. This morning all the mundane jobs done, so a bite of lunch, then into the craft room for a nice relaxing afternoon. graphic 45 12 days of christmas 2014

here we go – the last 4 Christmas cards for this year! This is graphic 45 12 days of Christmas paper collection – it was last years release I think, but I had a bit left over and made these four cards with it. All stampin up cardstock, and mainly all fussy cutting, with the odd ribbon, doily, lace and punched edge and leaves.I taught a class over at rhe retirement village this afternoon, and have been experimenting in the craft room with some fancy folded cards – I would like to do a class with them, but have to perfect this technique myself first!Til tomorrow….
