I covered my base card with a piece of Kaisercraft Christmas jewel 12 x 12 paper -this particular paper was silver embossed with lots of seasonal words, so didn’t need too much decorating… so I just added a die cut circle ( in gorgeous purple glitter cardstock) a collectable from the pack, and a Kaisercraft wooden flourish which i embossed with mu Go Press and foil machine. The sentiment is from the sticker sheet from the same collection and I mounted it on some white cardstock and popped on the card with foam pads. Today I picked up my new kaisercraft christmas collection called Letters to Santa, and I have spent a lovely afternoon fussy cutting lots of pieces ready for more Christmas cards. Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Christmas jewel number 5
Todays card is interesting because it uses some of the strips of offcuts from papers from the 6″ pad used on other cards. A great way to use up scraps. The decoration is from the kaisercraft christmas Jewel collection, and the greeting is from the sticker sheet and layered onto more scrap paper. I love the colours of this papr collection, and today we got in the september Kaisercraft releases which are both Christmas paper collections and I love the red/green vintage collection so that will be my buy for this month! Kaisercraft Christmas Jewel number 4
Kaisercraft Christmas jewel collection..a piece of the 12 x 12 paper, and some collectables make an easy card today! The star in the centre of the Poinsetta is a piece from the kaisercraft chipboard pieces which I foiled. Today was a short day at work, and it is bitterly cold outside, so I am going to have something warm for lunch, and do a little bit of work on the cruise cards…Til tomorrow….

Carrying on with my Kaisercraft Christmas Jewel series, this one is really simple, with a piece of the 6″ pad with the deer image printed on it layered onto white cardstock, a sentiment from the matching sticker sheet, a matching collectable and 2 kaisercraft chipboard pieces which I foiled with my Go Press and Foil machine with silver foil. Today is the gathering of our Craft and chat group. Christmas cards started…2017…

Here are the other two cards I made for my group Christmas in July challenge..I hadn’t been out to the Craft room annex ( shed) for my Christmas stash so really used what was to hand in the craft room, and I had been making lessons with some Kaisercraft dies, and I always have a bit of glitter paper in the craft room. The stitched oval is a Paper Rose die, and I die cut the bauble on the top card and foiled it through the Go Press and Foil machine as I was experimenting with that new toy at the time. The rest was just assorted bling on my desk. Its a lazy kind of afternoon this afternoon after a busy morning at work, and I am going to have a bit of a sit down with a good book today! This years first Christmas card….

Today is my Craft and Chat group get together, and the challenge set for todays get together was Christmas in July so I quickly whipped up a couple of cards in between class and cruise preparations to take with me . Here is the first one. The bird was a chipboard piece I found in the bottom of a drawer when I was looking for chipboard to try with my new Go Press and foil ( it foiled beautifully).I used a whole layer of glitter cardstock on the background, and die cut a Paper Rose die in gold foil for the sentiment. The Holly is a kaisercraft die, and the stitched oval is a Paper Rose die. Little kaisercraft rhinestones for the holly berries. I have come up with all the card ideas needed for the cruise, now all that is left is to prepare all the kits. That will take quite some time with a lot of die cutting , embossing, and layers to cut.For now though I am off to gather some supplies to take with me to my craft group get together. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Silent night 7.
Todays card is a Christmas card made with kaisercraft Silent Night. I have posted a few cards made with this paper collection a few weeks back and this one missed out for some technical reason!I have used some of the matching collectables, inked around all the edges with Tea dye distress ink,and added a gold cord bow. I only have a few Christmas cards left in the queue so over the next couple of days I will post them and then we will put Christmas makes 2016 behind us! I have been slowly making weding cards with Kaisercraft new paper collection – PS I love you, and discovered when I had finished them that they would be too bulky for envelopes so I have been busy making boxes for them..that will teach me to get carried away with embellishing! Wedding and baby cards are my favourite cards to make – What is your favourite card make? Til tomorrow….
