Kaisercraft Secret admirer number 7

IMG_1181 (Medium)This is an early post today – I missed yesterdays as we had problems with our internet – it’s amazing how that brings most of the household to a grinding halt ! Todays card uses Kaisercraft Secret Admirer 6″ pad and matching collectables- this collection was a little different – kaisercraft brought out 2 different collectables packs, one of which was mainly die cut doilies, and its this pack that I used here. I tucked one behind a panel from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, and used the other as abase for my group of martha stewart punched frond leaves, flowers and ribbon, and slid a Prima hat pin behind. Til tomorrow….

Love….

I chose this card to show tonight, because I think it shows a nice layout ( sketch) idea that you could adapt for any card. I have started with a base card of stampin Up early espresso cardstock, and the papers I have used are kaisercraft The Lake House ( this is card number 12 for those of you counting!)The first layer was cut only a little smaller than the base card, and I used a circle punch to chomp out the corners. The next layer was quite a bit smaller, and again I chomped the corners.I used a pre printed panel from one of the 12 x 12 sheets in the collection, and stuck a collectable across it, but you could achieve the same look by using your dies and cuttlebug. All that remained was to die cut some flowers ( I used Stampin Up blossom Party and sizzix tim holtz tattered flower garland)  add a grey satin bow, and a bit of perfect pearls.I am still thawing out from my day at the market, and as it was a very early start ,it will be early to bed for me tonight! Til tomorrow….

The Lake House number 7

here is the last of my Kaisercraft The Lake House collection. I used the  6″ pad, a pice of the 12 x 12 paper ( this is a great sheet, full of labels) and a couple of the collectables from the matching collection. The cardstock is stampin Up early Espresso, and I die cut the flowers using my cuttlebug and Stampin Up blossom party die and tim Holtz sizzix tattered florals garland die. I only had to add a ribbon bow and liquid pearls and it was finished! Tonight I am making a start on Fathers day cards – I have some ideas so should have a good crafty session tonight! Til tomorrow…

Magnolia grove 2

Kaisercraft Magnolia grove number 2… Again I have used the 12 x 12 papers, and the matching collectables. The sentiment is Stampin Up perfectly penned ( love that stamp) and in the top corner I have done a little arrangement with one of my hand crocheted doilies ( still learning – don’t look too closely) , ribbon, and prima flower and prima petals pin – these were new in my local craft shop the other day and I couldn’t resist them…. Til tomorrow….

victoria gardens revisited 2

This is the other card I made when I rediscovered my Echo Park Victoria gardens paper. The flags are die cut with Spellbinders Lacey Pennants die, and I just gathered a few flowers into a little bunch and tied a ribbon around them the sentiment is stamped with a stamp from Stampin Up perfectly penned set, and that was all that was needed on this one! Til tomorrow….

A New Bo Bunny Enchanted..

I have certainly got my moneys worth out of this Bo Bunny Enchanted 6″ pad! This latest card also uses Sizzix Tim Holtz Tattered Floral dies, Nellies nesting dies ( Heart) by X – Cut, Prima Leaves, Magnolia Chanderlier Garland and the gretting is Stampin Up Perfectly Penned and Silver embossed.A Non Crafty day today, but I am heading into the craft room now to make some Baby girl cards with a cute new teddy Bear I picked up.On my travels today I did pop into Paper Flourish to see the new Prima papers – Really yummy and of course didn’t resist the temptation to buy so will be playing with them tomorrow. Engagement card

Hello and welcome to my new follower! This is a card i was working on over the weekend, and is for a friend at work. I used assorted bazil, lace, flowers, Magnolia drops, liquid pearls, spellbinders circles and labels seventeen. There is a delicate swirly thing on the side which was cut on my cuttlebug with a memory box die called Fauntleroy crest ,( my favourite die at the moment) ans the leaves were punched out with my Stampin Up bird punch. The champagne glasses are a stamp that comes from the stampin Up Cheers to you stamp set. While I had it out I stamped out quite a few images with it – it has a variety of different shaped glasses, and today I spent a lovely while in the craft room making a few cards with them.I will go back into the craft room for a little while after tea as I still have a few Wedding cards to make. Til tomorrow….

Bobunny Enchanted

Here is something completely different for me – Monochrome cards… This particular card was created for a relative that recently became engaged, and I used Bo Bunny Enchanted 6″pad, a matching brad and a pre printed label from a matching 12 x 12 paper. I added some flowers, pretty beaded ribbon and a prima leaf. I die cut a sizzix tattered floral from more of the papers from the 6″ pad. The greeting was stamped with Stampin Up perfectly penned. I would love a bit of feedback on these monochrome cards so let me know what you think! Til tomorrow…..

Embedded embossing with cuttlebug

Today I taught my class over at Paper Flourish, and it was all about embedded embossing, and this is one of the cards we created. The Heart is glued onto the card and then run through ths cuttlebug, which gives a great embedded effect. I used the devine swirls cuttlebug folder, and cuttlebug hearts die.I also used shiny silver cardstock, and a bit of white ribbon to hide the seam, and finish off the card. This afternoon I have been coming up with some ideas for my village lesson in a week or so, and must get back to it now, til tomorrow…..

Anniversary/wedding/engagement

Todays card is a bit of a break from Mothers day cards – I used Kaisercraft Chanteuse patterned papers, Early espresso and blushing bride Stampin up cardstock, and used my cuttlebug to die cut the hearts. I have used this kaisercraft paper a lot this year for Mothers day cards, I love it! Have a queue today waiting to use the computer, so a quick post today .Til tomorrow…..
