This is the first card I made with my new stamp set from Stampin Up Field Flowers. All products used are stampin Up – cardstock and ink – Calypso coral and pool party, and designer paper – everyday enchantment. The die is a stampin up sizzix die – top note. Upsy daisy
I have been using these two colours a lot this week, but I didn’t have ribbon to match, so I dyed my own using my little spray mister, a little water and a few drops of re -inker. Whenever I but an ink pad I also buy a bottle of refill ink, and this comes in handy for jobs just like this. The ribbon was originally stampin up whisper white taffeta ribbon, and when I had dyed my ribbon I still had some mix in my spray bottle, and not wanting to waste it I sprayed this piece of Stampin Up confetti Ivory cardstock. I like the effect it has created, and I will be experimenting more with this technique. I stamped Stampin Up Upsy daisy stamp and black embossed it. The greeting is Stampin Up four frames stamp, and petite pairs, and it was punched out with a matching decorative punch. This is a new set for me, I have been using them a lot so you will see more of them! The background card colours are Stampin Up calypso coral and Pool party. Today I have planned out my April paper flourish lesson – I am so far ahead now when it comes time to do that class I will have forgotten what I did!And I have been playing with the new graphic 45 papers which are beautiful… Til tomorrow….
Art in Motion #2
Tonights card is my second play with my new art in Motion stamp from Happen Inc. This time I coloured the image with watercolour pencils instead of ink. I used stampin Up cardstock – Poppy parade, K&Co Lifes Journey Diecuts, a red ribbon, and I dyed the white lace with a couple of drops of re-inker in a mist it spray bottle.( A great way to match your lace to your project. Because I care
Tonight I have gone back to a stamp set I got recently, but haven’t played enough with! The cardstock is stampin up Pink piroutte, the paper is Stampin Up Walk in the park (retired), and the stamp set is Because I care. The lace is in my craft supply, and I also used Kaisercraft pearls.Tonight I will just finish off a couple of cards I have started, and then early night as I have a very early start for work tomorrow. Mums birthday card
I used kaisercraft Tea at Elsies paper on this card, with stampin up cardstock (brilliant blue), prima flower and say it in pearls, with a couple of die cut butterflies, and lots of kindyglitz, which, if you visit me often, you will notice that I use kindyglitkz almost everywhere. I love it!
