A special Mothers day card

Todays card is a special one I made for my mum for her birthday this month, but it could also be done for Mothers Day. I used My minds eye ‘lush’ pack for the paper which is flocked, and the ribbon, Black stampin Up cardstock, kaisercraft bling and rub on, and Bo bunny Gabrielle brads for the butterfly. Tonight I will be packing my bag ready for my lesson tomorrow at Paper Flourish. It’s always exciting going into that shop to see all the new bits and pieces! Til tomorrow…..

Had a lovely afternoon over at Kays, and played with her chalks, learning a lot of new techniques with them, so will spend a bit of time this evening practising. Til tomorrow…..

Springtime take 2

This is the second group in my set of cards using just 4 sheets of Echo Park springtime papers. I used Stampin Up cardstock, kaisercraft bling, and the Woderful Mother stamp was from Stampin Up Well scripted, The butterflies were stamped and cut out using a stamp from stampin up Bliss ( a great set) and the Just for you stamp was from stamp it. I’m hoping to get into my craft room tonight after an absence of a couple of days – my fingers are getting itchy! Til tomorrow….

Just Add Layers!

Todays card really just makes good use of layers, and I didn’t need to add too much else. I used Bazzil cardstock, Martha stewart punches, a scrap of lace, and I gold embossed a stamp I have had for years. The computer is really playing up tonight, and my techie isn’t here, so please forgive any mistakes as I can’t go back and view before i post. Til tomorrow…..

Blessed Mother take 2

Todays card is an exact copy of yesterdays card, but I have swapped Riding hood red cardstock with Perfect Plum. All other supplies are the same.Looking forward to doing some major cardmaking over the next couple of days, as I haven’t done so much this week! Til tomorrow…..

Blessed Mother stamps

This cute little flower stamp is my favourite at the moment, and I love the script that comes in the set. I used Papermania Hanoverian Linen paper, and stampin Up cardstock – crumbcake, and riding hood red. I coloured the image with my stamp pads and an aqua brush, and added a little bit of lace to finish. Its the end of the working week for me, and I’m looking forward to a nice long weekend, with plenty of time to plan some lessons, and try out new techniques, so a bit of blog hopping for new ideas is on the cards too! Til tomorrow…..

Chipboard Bird

Boy is it hot today!Todays card uses Stampin Up cardstock – Blushing Bride and Choc Chip, and a Kaisercraft Chipboard Bird which I coloured with ink pads. The paper is unknown – I found it in the great craft room move. A bit of lace tied in a bow finishes it off. I have 7 cards to make tonight for orders, all different  – anniversary, wedding, engagement, get well and special birthdays, so I had better get a move on  – Til tomorrow…..

Happy mothers Day card

When I was moving all my gear into my new craft room I came across this pretty paper, and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I don’t know the name or brand but it goes beautifully with Stampin Up cardstock – Blushing bride and Choc Chip. I used a K&Co die cut, a brad from Kaisercrafts new range and a little piece of lace to finish.Today over at mums I started quite a few projects, so tonight I am going to complete some of them! Til tomorrow…..
