Last month I chose some Simple Stories paper to prepare for Mays class, and before I knew it I had made 10 cards. I couldn’t choose which cards to do for the class, so in May my ladies will be making 10 cards! Anyway, I went back and purchased for myself some more paper, and the matching brads, washi paper tape, packet of bits and pieces, and chipboard pieces, sat down over one weekend ,used it all, and made 32 cards. I love this paper! So easy to create with it. Here are the first 4 cards, we might see a few and take a bit of a break otherwise you may all get thoroughly sick of seeing it!Today I taught a lesson at Paper Flourish, and then headed to the shops to pick up some groceries as the shops are closed on Saturday for Anzac day, , my usual day for shopping.we have a busy weekend coming up as it’s Mums 80th birthday and we are having a big family shindig! As promised, here are the last 2 cards in my Kaisercraft Paradiso collection. These ones are bon Voyage cards, and I used the 6″ pad for the background papers, and the collectables and a little twine to decorate.Tomorrow I think we will move on to my new graphic 45 papers, just for a change. The end of the working week and it’s going to be a hot weekend here, so I may get a little crafting done – I have some lovely new papers from the upcoming Kaisercraft releases so I will sit and plan out a few lessons and I really want to cut into Kaisercraft Velvet Crush this weekend – that paper is gorgeous – all purples and lilacs – a lovely change from everything xmassy! Quick post tonight, as tea is burning as we speak! Over the next couple of days I will show a couple of cards i made using Pink Paislee London Market paper – its a lovely vintage style paper, and On this card I teamed it with the matching pink paislee ephemera pack, and a couple of odd bits and pieces I had in the bottom of a drawer! Hoping to have a nice session in the craft room tonight – i have the next couple of days off, and have to get some orders done – Til tomorrow….
I buy a lot of very pretty feminine paper, so my goal is always to try and make one male card with them, but the Kaisercraft sweet nothings range nearly defeated me, it is so soft and feminine. I am cheating a little calling this a sweet nothings card, but I did use the images from the collectables pack that co – ordinates with this range. The background paper is a scrap of Prima paper, and I used a prima stamp around the edge of a hand cut tag. The quote I printed out on my printer.Tonight I am heading into my craft room, and it will be the first time in ages that I have a long session in there – I will hang a do not disturb sign on the door! Til tomorrow…..
Here’s a card I made a little while ago using Kaisercraft Cock – a Doodle – Doo paper and the matching collectables. The letters are Prima canvas letters and some letter cut from a previous kaisercraft 6″pad. The cardstock is stampin Up garden Green. A fun morning this morning teaching my Paper Flourish lesson, and i am looking forward to spending an hour or two in the craft room .I have a new Cricut cartridge which I haven’t had a chance to play with yet so I am going to get it out and experiment with it. Til tomorrow…..
Tonights card hasn’t got a lot of product on it! The papers are kaisercraft Little toot ( I fussy cut the car and caravan) .This was last months release, but I am a bit behind! and the letters are a cuttlebug die called typewriter. Tonight i am in the craft room making some cards with Echo Parks new papers – Vicoria gardens. tomorrow nathan will photo them so maybe they will be up next week! Til tomorrow….
I had a few new bits and pieces that I wanted to play with, so I have virtually used them all on one card! I used Stampin up Early espresso cardstock, October Afternoon -Thrift shop patterned paper, and Lifes Journey stamp collage embossed paper. The Eiffel Tower was cut from an acrylic sheet from Collections Elements, and the Brad is from Stamping Up – isn’t it great. I love these vintage brads. Its market day on Sunday, that has come around quickly, so I have been organising my boxes today, but have to go now and do a 21st card for an order. Til Tomorrow….
