Bon Voyage

I had a few new bits and pieces that I wanted to play with, so I have virtually used them all on one card! I used Stampin up Early espresso  cardstock,  October Afternoon -Thrift shop patterned paper, and Lifes Journey stamp collage embossed paper. The Eiffel Tower  was cut from an acrylic sheet from Collections Elements, and the Brad is from Stamping Up – isn’t it great. I love these vintage brads. Its market day on Sunday, that has come around quickly, so I have been organising my boxes today, but have to go now and do a 21st card for an order. Til Tomorrow….

Get well Bird

This is one of my all time favourite stamps and colour combinations. I have used Stampin Up cardstock – Baja breeze, night of navy close to cocoa and Very vanilla. The paper is a retired designer paper from Stampin up ( also a favourite ) and the Stamp is from the Friends 24-7 stamp set. Ink is Stampin up close to cocoa, baja breeze and night of navy. Tonight is t.v. night, just too tired for cardmaking, thank goodness only one more work day before my holidays start! Yay! Til tomorrow….

Tonights card is a Thank you card which came out  a little smaller than I thought it would. I used Stampin up cardstock – Melon Mambo, and Kaisercraft paper – Fun in the sun. I used some flowers that I picked up at the market on the front. Til tomorrow…

Bird on a branch

Tonights card is a very simple one. I used Stampin up cardstock – Mellow Moss and Old olive – and Stampin up stamp set ‘Bird on a Branch.’ The patterned paper was Basic grey “Mellow paper. Every one here is off to the gym, so I will be creating this evening  – Ah lovely! Til tomorrow….

A special note of thanks

Another lovely Sunday, although it was very cold down at the market at 6am this morning.I did a good trade, but not too many people around, they were probably taking advantage of the fine weather, and Mum tells me that the Gawler show was on today, which wouldn’t have helped matters!Todays card uses Stampin up Rich razzleberry cardstock, Top Note die, rich razzleberry ribbon, flower(made with stampin up punches) ,Stampin up cottage garden patterned paper, stampin up stamps – Cheep talk and cottage garden, and rich razzleberry and old olive ink pads. The music note is a kaisercraft stamp and as usual I used Kaisercraft blling and Kindyglitz.Til tomorrow….

Butterfly bling

Hi everyone! Today was photography day, and it has taken us most of the day. The light was playing havoc with Nathans settings, and we scrapped 2 tries, we had lights on, lights off, blinds open, blinds closed and at one stage Nathan even crawled under the dining table to get the perfect shot. He says if its overcast next weekend we have to get the tent out. Oh no! The tent is a white pop up tent, quite large, is a nightmare to fold back up again. Bring on the sunny weather! Doesn’t have to be hot , just a consistant light for an hour on Sunday morning would be fine…  I had one little scrap of Kaisercraft Flutterby painted lady patterned paper left over, and I haven’t been able to find any more of this design in my travels, so I decided to let it go with a bang, and a lot of bling! This is the result. The cardstock is stampin up Pretty in Pink, stamp is stampin up Whimsical words, and bling is kaisercraft and kindyglitz.

From the heart

Had a great day today, spent it with two of my favourite people, my Mum and my sister, shopping for craft supplies – the best kind of shopping! Sadly I didn’t see a great deal to inspire me, but still managed to pick up a few bits and pieces.I did find a couple of  different patterned papers, no doubt you will see them in the not too distant future made up into cards.Tonights card uses Coredinations cardstock, and kaisercraft gypsy sisters collection patterned paper. The stamp is from a stampin up set – nice and easy notes, and coloured with watercolour pencils.A stampin up corner rounder is used on the corners, and this card is finished off with kindyglitz and kaisercraft pearls!

Inspire

Tonights card was great fun to make! I used Stampin up cardstock – Baja Breeze – and kaisercraft Le Chateau 6″ paper pad.The Birdcage is a  Kaisercraft Le Chateau clear stamp which I stamped and then heat embossed with black embossing powder. I was trying out a new black powder as I wasn’t happy with the one I had, and I am most impressed with this one – it gives a nice thick layer, with very little speckling which is a problem with black powder. It’s called zing! and is by american crafts. I picked it up at spotlight and it was a very reasonable price. They had a huge range of colours, and it is a good sized jar. I will be going back for more colours!Anyway, back to the card. The little bird is fussy cut from kaisercraft Loire Valley, and the word and bird stamps are by inkadinkadoo. The ribbon is from my craft supply.Today I have been working on mens cards,as Fathers Day is only a few weeks away, but I only get a few done when I have to do a completely girly one just to get my bling fix! You will see these cards at some stage next week, once I get my photographer organised, And we still have a few  to go in this current group. Thanks for visiting, see you soon !

Butterfly friendship

Tonights card started off as a white base card with  a piece of Kaisercraft Le Chateau collection from the 6″ pad matted on to it. I have used this set of papers for a lot of different cards, it’s very versatile.I used a butterfly punh, flower punch, and stampin up stamp from the Friendship Blooms set and Heat embossed it before using oval nesabilities to mat the sentiment. As per usual I finished off with kaisercraft pearls and Kindyglitz. On other news I have been very busy at work putting out this months new release books, and would just like to take this opportunity to let Kay know that there is a new Tony Park novel out!
