Nathan and I have had a busy morning taking photos of all my recent makes so I am now ready to go!First up is the new Prima Forever Green series of patterned papers, and assorted matching bits and pieces.The only other company here is Stampin Up with their cardstock,sentiment stamp and ribbon. I have discovered a new toy! It is called Wink of Stella, and looks like a mascara but it has a brush on the end, and you know how I love kindyglitz, stickles.. any kind of shimmery bling.. well this is a more subtle application – it gives a shimmery appearance. you can see here I have used it on the flowers-on the image and the flowers down there in the left hand side. This is now a tool I keep in my absolutely need kit!Til tomorrow…..

really quick post tonight, and I may be a bit erratic over the next few days as I am doing a huge amount of hours at work this week for stocktake. We are back to Graphic 45 Botanical tea today, and its just the paper, no further embellishing, and all edges inked in tea dye ink. til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft On This day 7 and 8
Two cards today, both using Kaisercraft On This day paper pad and collectables.The top card is still following the wedding themd, but the bottom card is a sympathy card. a lot of the images in this collection can be used for so many different themes. I have had a lovely day in the craft room – actually finished using one paper collection, tidied a little bit, ad then made a dozen Mothers day cards. Those ones won’t make it to my blog as I have had to put them straight into my lunch room boxes as people are already asking for them.I have also palyed alittle bit with my new bo bunny paper – took a card or two to settle into the swing of that paper but I am on a roll now! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Paradiso bon voyage 7 and 8
As promised, here are the last 2 cards in my Kaisercraft Paradiso collection. These ones are bon Voyage cards, and I used the 6″ pad for the background papers, and the collectables and a little twine to decorate.Tomorrow I think we will move on to my new graphic 45 papers, just for a change. The end of the working week and it’s going to be a hot weekend here, so I may get a little crafting done – I have some lovely new papers from the upcoming Kaisercraft releases so I will sit and plan out a few lessons and I really want to cut into Kaisercraft Velvet Crush this weekend – that paper is gorgeous – all purples and lilacs – a lovely change from everything xmassy! A clean and simple style today. I just used a couple of the collectables from the kaisercraft lady rose collection, and stamped a stampin up stamp in the corner. Quick and easy! Til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny – The Avenues….
this one had me stumped- I had to go through all my paper collections to find the name! I have only done a couple of cards with it so that’s why it didn’t come to mind… anyway it is Bo Bunny The Avenues, and the bits and pieces on the card front are from the matching noteworthy collection. I distressed all the edges, and I have left it out on my table to do some more with it this evening. I have been working on xmas most of the day so will welcome a little break tonight! Til tomorrow….
Summer Breeze number 1
Wow we are behind a little bit – I made this group of cards some time ago with a new release from Kaisercraft called Summer Breeze. Here I have used some paper from the 6″ paper pad, fussy cut the squares, and added a little bling to the flower images. I cut an extra image of the top flower and popped it on top with some foam pads. Over the last few days I have been experimenting with s0me new markers – Kaisercraft have brought out a range and next time Nathan has the camera out I will take some shots of what I have been up to! serene silhouettes
Now and again I get out my inks and stamps, and go to town! For the next few days we will have a stamping special where I will show you what I have been working on lately.This one uses all stampin up – cardstock – pretty in pink,raspberry ripple and primrose petals. The stamp is from Serene Silhouettes stamp set and stamped in Raspberry ripple ink, and even the ribbon is stampin up! I die cut a circle through the top two layers of cardstock so that the lowest colour showed through, and I have just realised the embossing folder I used was not stampin up – it was a freebie off the front of a magazine. Had a lovely crafty afternoon with some other like minded ladies, swapped tips, saw what each other were working on, and enjoyed afternoon tea together – it was lovely after doing lessons back to back this week to just sit, craft and relax! Stampin Up cottage Window
I named this post after the stamp set I used to create this card, but there is so much more going on! After I had fussy cut out the window I stuck it onto my card base which i had covered with a scrap of paper – it reminded me of wallpaper… then I made my chest of drawers using spellbinders label seventeen dies, and for the drwaers Modern Label punch ( stampin Up) and added liquid pearls for the drawer handles.I inked around all parts of the drawers with brown ink Then it was time to move on to the vase of flowers – a circle punched out with a 1 inch punch, and trimmed off top and bottom, and flowers and leaves punched out with various punches. I do like creating these type of scenery cards, and this one was a retirement village lesson, which all the ladies enjoyed! Tonight I plan to tackle some male themed cards, I have rediscovered my motorcycle stamp, and have some ideas…Til tomorrow….
Porcelain Rose number 6
Quick post tonight, as tea is cooking as we speak! Really quick card to make too – Porcelain Rose paper ( 12 x 12 corner piece) and a couple of collectables from the matching pack ,a bit of kindyglitz and thats it! today I have been working on some fathers day cards, and baby cards, and tonight I am going to spend a little time preparing a couple of canvasses for some ideas I have.
