The Lake house 3

Still using the 6″ pad from Kaisercraft The Lake House,I fussy cut around the flower sheet, and also cut a couple of extra flowers to pop on top with mounting squares. I added some ribbon, a stick pin, and flower, and used some liquid pearls and kindyglitz to decorate, and also slipped in a die cut from the matching collectables pack. The cardstock is Stampin Up Early Espresso.I am busy this week coming up with some lesson ideas, but also very busy at work, so a bit tired when I get home, already looking forward to the weekend when I intend to craft a lot! Til tomorrow….

Magnolia Grove number 4

Hi I am back from my holiday, but I am glad to see that my blog managed to carry on without me! Today we are still carrying on with my Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove series – one left in this series, and then we move on – Todays card was made with the 12 x 12 papers in the collection and some bazill cardstock, and a vintage rose and ribbon. I die cut some flowers with my sizzix 3d flowers die and hand rolled them, and used my Dienamics Fancy Flourish die and spellbinders labels 14 die as well. The sentiment is stamped with a stamp from my Stampin Up perfectly penned set.Tonight I will be found in my craft room ( once I have found a home for all my new gooodies ) making a couple of cards for an order, then I really have to get organised for the big 3 day craft fair that I have a stall at this coming weekend – it’s all go here!…..Til tomorrow….

Magnolia grove 2

Kaisercraft Magnolia grove number 2… Again I have used the 12 x 12 papers, and the matching collectables. The sentiment is Stampin Up perfectly penned ( love that stamp) and in the top corner I have done a little arrangement with one of my hand crocheted doilies ( still learning – don’t look too closely) , ribbon, and prima flower and prima petals pin – these were new in my local craft shop the other day and I couldn’t resist them…. Til tomorrow….

Magnolia grove

Straight off I want to say that I found this paper a challenge – it is very pretty, but the muted colours are not what I usually choose, but learning is all about stretching yourself, so I will share my creations with you! I did make an initial 4 cards with this paper which sold before I could photo them, so some people do like this colourway. The paper is Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove, and I have also used the matching collectables, some kaisercraft pearls, lace, ribbon and websters pages clear rhine sparkler. The papers used on this one are all cut from 12 x 12 sheets. Til tomorrow….

Victoria gardens revisited

I liked this paper when I first bought it, and I still like it using it for the second time around! It is Echo park Victoria gardens and I have lost count of the ammount of cards I have made with it. For this one I cut a cameo with my cricut machine and the heritage cartridge, made my flower using sizzix 3d flower die, tried out my new die from Die-namics – fancy flourish, and finished it by punching a border with martha stewart punch – lace doily and adding a little lace and liquid pearls. Rue des Fleurs number 4

This card was so simple – Baja breeze ( stampin Up) cardstock, Stampin Up attic boutique designer paper, and the Rue Des fleurs stamp set. The die used for the label was stampin Up decorative labels die, and I lightly coloured the image with inks and a blender pen and sponged the edges with so saffron ( stampin Up) ink..I do like this particular stamp, and when I get home from my trip I look forward to doing some more with it! Til tomorrow….

Rue Des Fleurs number 3

Tonights card has two photos because I decorated the inside of the card as well – something I don’t usually do, but I wanted to carry on the clock/ watch / time theme to the inside of my card. I used stampin Up cardstock – poppy parade, and choc chip ink, and the paper was Stampin Up attic boutique. The stamp set is of course my featured stamp set from stampin Up – Rue Des Fleurs.I used the little stamp onto very vanilla cardstock and fussy cut it, linked it together to make the border down the side and decorated it with kaisercraft pearls. The labels were die cut with Stampin Up decorative label dies and my cuttlebug. Not a lot of crafting done today, but I will get into the craft room tonight for an hour or two as I have an idea buzzing around in my head for a male card… Til tomorrow….

Rue Des fleurs 2

here is number 2 in my Stampin Up Rue Des Fleurs stamp set series. I also used Stampin Up attic Boutique designer paper, and so saffron an very vanilla cardstock. I stamped with choc chip ink, and added a few Kaisercraft pearls. You will notice a flourish design on the very vanilla cardstock – that was created by sponging so saffron ink through a piece of paper that I had previously die cut a die-namics fancy flourish from – I just used the waste as a stencil… nothing wasted here! Til tomorrow….

Rue Des Fleurs number 1

Stampin Up have a great mini catalogue running just now, and I have bought lots of new stuff from it  and this stamp set and paper are two of my purchases. The stamp set is called Rue Des Fleurs and I love it so over the next few days you will see what I have created with it so far… The paper is also stampin Up – attic boutique. The fancy trim behind the main element is a stamp from the set – its quite neat because the design of the stamp allows the image to be interlocked to make a long border strip and I stamped it in choc chip ink. I stamped the main image with choc chip as well, and I die cut a label using spellbinders label 14. The flourishes are from a die-namics die – fancy flourish. The cardstock is Stampin Up – early espresso and so saffron. I also inked around my label eges in so saffron. In fact looking more closely I think I inked around everything….A busy day today, organising my market boxes to see what cards I am short of – still have a few to make for that….. and as I am off to Canberra with my sister next week for a great girly holiday scrapping and cardmaking and hopefully learning lots of new techniques that I can translate into lessons and cards I thought I would schedule my posts for that time ahead so that my blog will still be posting even if I am not here. Anyway I am so excited cos I actually worked it out myself without any help from my techie son Nathan! This evening – more cards! Til tomorrow….

Prima Botanicals with Butterfly 2

This card somehow got separated from it’s partner which I posted a few posts down… I used Prima Botanicals paper, and the butterflies were fussy cut from a sheet of Graphic 45 paper that was full of these gorgeous butterflies. I used a scrap piece of prima paper to cut randomly sized rectangles and distressed and inked the edges before mounting the butterflies on them. Today I have been playing with my punches, and have come up with some different cards using them, which I am sure will feature in a lesson or two soon! Til tomorrow….
