kaisercraft secret garden 9 and 10

IMG_2435 (Medium)IMG_2436 (Medium)Kaisercrat secret garden. The top card has a piece 0f the 6″ pad as the background, and a piece from one of the 12 x 12 card fronts  trimmed down. I used a kaisercraft mannequin die and hand cut a dress from a piece of the 6″ pad.Added a collectable and some sequins to finish this one. For the bottom card – so simple – a piece of the 6″ pad and a collectable is all this one needed!punched butterfly, and sentiment and done. Freezing day here today, far too cold in the craft room,  so after a visit to Mum and dad’s this afternoon, it will be tea in front of the heater and Tv! til tomorrow….

Stampin Up Lotus Blossom stamp set

IMG_8560 (Medium)IMG_8561 (Medium)This stamp set from Stampin Up is a three step stamp set which means you stamp the flowers up in layers, laying the solid stamp down first in the lightest colour, and then the second stamp which has more petal detail second and the last layer which is really just highlighting in the darkest colour. The top card , which was inspired by a card I pinned to my pinterest board, uses all stampin up products including ribbon and patterned paper. The bottom cards have some cardstock punched with my martha stewart doily border punch. Nearly time to go to work, so til tomorrow……

Graphic 45 Botanical tea number10

IMG_3707 (Medium)really quick post tonight, and I may be a bit erratic over the next few days as I am doing a huge amount of hours at work this week for stocktake. We are back to Graphic 45 Botanical tea today, and its just the paper, no further embellishing, and all edges inked in tea dye ink. til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft On This day 7 and 8

IMG_4548 (Medium)IMG_4550 (Medium)Two cards today, both using Kaisercraft On This day paper pad and collectables. The top card is still following the wedding themd, but the bottom card is a sympathy card. a lot of the images in this collection can be used for so many different themes. I have had a lovely day in the craft room – actually finished using one paper collection, tidied a little bit, ad then made a dozen Mothers day cards. Those ones won’t make it to my blog as I have had to put them straight into my lunch room boxes as people are already asking for them.I have also palyed alittle bit with my new bo bunny paper – took a card or two to settle into the swing of that paper but I am on a roll now! til tomorrow….

serene silhouettes

IMG_2854 (Medium)Now and again I get out my inks and stamps, and go to town! For the next few days we will have a stamping special where I will show you what I have been working on lately. This one uses all stampin up – cardstock – pretty in pink, raspberry ripple and primrose petals. The stamp is from Serene Silhouettes stamp set and stamped in Raspberry ripple ink, and even the ribbon is stampin up! I die cut a circle through the top two layers of cardstock so that the lowest colour showed through, and I have just realised the embossing folder I used was not stampin up – it was a freebie off the front of a magazine. Had a lovely crafty afternoon with some other like minded ladies, swapped tips, saw what each other were working on, and enjoyed afternoon tea together – it was lovely after doing lessons back to back this week to just sit, craft and relax! Til tomorrow….

Stampin Up cottage Window

IMG_5832 (Medium) IMG_5832 (Medium)I named this post after the stamp set I used to create this card, but there is so much more going on! After I had fussy cut out the window I stuck it onto my card base which i had covered with a scrap of paper – it reminded me of wallpaper… then I made my chest of drawers using spellbinders label seventeen dies, and for the drwaers Modern Label punch ( stampin Up) and added liquid pearls for the drawer handles.I inked around all parts of the drawers with brown ink Then it was time to move on to the vase of flowers – a circle punched out with a 1 inch punch, and trimmed off top and bottom, and flowers and leaves punched out with various punches. I do like creating these type of scenery cards, and this one was a retirement village lesson, which all the ladies enjoyed! Tonight I plan to tackle some male themed cards, I have rediscovered my motorcycle stamp, and have some ideas…Til tomorrow….

Porcelain Rose number 6

IMG_5841 (Medium)Quick post tonight, as tea is cooking as we speak!  Really quick card to make too – Porcelain Rose paper ( 12 x 12 corner piece) and a couple of collectables from the matching pack ,a bit of kindyglitz and thats it! today I have been working on some fathers day cards, and baby cards, and tonight I am going to spend a little time preparing a couple of canvasses for some ideas I have. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose number 4

IMG_5837 (Medium)There’s that bird again – isn’t he gorgeous? The paper is  a piece of the 12 x 12 paper from Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, and the tag is from the matching collectables pack. I stamped the sentiment with a stampin up stamp and added a blue flower ( kaisercraft) and kindyglitz to finish. I have had a very productive day in the craft room today, just sitting and experimenting with some stamps, and mucking about with different colour combinations – very satisfying. My holidays have flown by and I can’t believe it’s back to work next Tuesday for me! For now though, I must go and pack my class bag as I’m teaching tomorrow – so looking forward to seeing my ladies! Til tomorrow….

toatally clean and simple.

IMG_8825 (Medium)I made this card to prove to myself that I could do a one layer card! Although I have to admit I am still fighting the urge to add some ribbon and bling… I stamped a variety of butterfly stamps – (I have a lot so it could have been any brand) and stamped them in different coloured inks – these were – Stampin Up Certainly Celery, bashful blue,so saffron, and Pink Piroutte, and then fussy cut around the outside edge. The sentiment stamp ( from stampin Up) was stamped in black to stand out.Interesting exercise, but I won’t be packing away my bling any time soon! Til tomorrow…..

Botanical Odyssey number 2

IMG_8736 (Medium)Today is Kaisercraft Botanical Odyssey number 2. Just the 6″paper pad, and matching collectables, and a little seam binding for this one – I do love this paper, and in a minute when I return to the craft room where I have been working on May Lessons, I am going to get it back out and make some more cards with this one! I haven’t played nearly enough with it yet! Great to see the rain this afternoon, a great day for crafting. Til tomorrow….
