Kaisercraft On This day 7 and 8

IMG_4548 (Medium)IMG_4550 (Medium)Two cards today, both using Kaisercraft On This day paper pad and collectables. The top card is still following the wedding themd, but the bottom card is a sympathy card. a lot of the images in this collection can be used for so many different themes. I have had a lovely day in the craft room – actually finished using one paper collection, tidied a little bit, ad then made a dozen Mothers day cards. Those ones won’t make it to my blog as I have had to put them straight into my lunch room boxes as people are already asking for them.I have also palyed alittle bit with my new bo bunny paper – took a card or two to settle into the swing of that paper but I am on a roll now! til tomorrow….

sympathy card

IMG_2856 (Medium)Here is a very quick post as tea is cooking as we speak, luckily it’s a really quick and simple card tonight! The cardstock is Stampin Up and so are the stamps I used – Love and Sympathy set. I inked the stamps with Prima chalk inks, and added sticker borders to define the squares. In a rush… til tomorrow..

Simple sympathy card

Quite often the last thing we want to do is make a sympathy card when we need one. I find it’s always handy to have a couple put away for when they are needed, and my rule with sympathy cards is the simpler the better. The card I have done here is a perfect example of my theory. I have used stampin up cardstock – early espresso, crumbcake and very vanilla, and a stampin Up stamp which looks ok even though it’s not coloured – any simple stamp will do – and a simple seam binding bow.I have also subtly inked around all the edges with a brown ink pad ( in this case Stamp in up Early espresso). I had a lovely lesson with my ladies this morning – it’s so good to see them every month, and they are always so good even when I might be a bit vague, as I was this morning – I had a sick son at home, he seems a little better this afternoon, so all is well in my world again! Til tomorrow….
