More Cock a Doodle do…

Still on my collection of Kaisercraft Cock a doodle do papers and collectables, one that doesn’t feature farm animals! I added three buttons with some string. The card stock is Stampin Up garden green. Very hot day here in Adelaide today – 35C or for my visitors that measure in Farenheight – 95  F . Awful however you say it, and it came with a truly hot north wind, so unpleasant all round! Still we managed to have  a fun time over at paper flourish where I ran my monthly lesson, and I get to do it all over again on Monday, but for now it’s back to the craft room and xmas cards for me… til tomorrow…..

Quick and Easy….

Here’s a qick and easy o using very little product. The paper is kaisercraft cock a doodle do, and a couple of the die cuts from the collectables in the same range. This range is quite versatile, and to think I very nearly didn’t buy it! I worked on quite a few xmas cards last night, tonight I have a couple of orders to do, so thats me sorted! Til tomorrow….

A couple more xmas cards….

I have to apologise for the quality of the photos, Nathans camera is still in being repaired but hopefully you get the gist of these xmas cards. The paper collection is Kaisercraft December 25 and the card on the left has a little flap which opens to show another image.Having said that I’m done with xmas cards, I am going to have to do a few more, as I had a bit of a run on them at the market today. It was very good there today, with lots of stalls and people around. I was next to an antiques stall, which had lots of interesting things on it including boxes of old photos, and postcards, but a bit out of my price range for buying to put on cards, and a lovely box of broken bits of jewellery which I dug through and bought some interesting bits and bobs for using on cards. The lady also had an old straw hat with lots of silk rosebuds (55 in all) which she gave me for free! Those rosebuds will be featured on a card very soon! Til tomorrow….

Scrapbook layout done with Trisha Ladouceur

An early post today, and a bit different too. Below my rambling there will be a video showing my scrapbook page. the reason we made a video is because there are so many moveable parts and pockets to this page , photos wouldn’t have done it justice. Now for some statistics – The class at Paper flourish was taken by a visiting Prima Educator . her name was Trisha Ladouceur. The class was titled Trinkets and treasures interactive wall Art class, and the final result was certainly all that! We used Prima marketings new paper collection called Romantic, and lots of co-ordinating flowers, leaves, chipboard and bling. As I am not a scrapbooker, I was a bit worried about keeping up with the fast paced nature of the class, but all went smoothly and I am more than pleased with my efforts.I urge anyone who has a chance to go to one of these classes or something similar to go for it – I had great fun and it was the perfect Birthday present from my boys!Tomorrow we will be back to cardmaking Til then…..

xmas stockings

Here is a brilliant way to use up those srips of leftover paper. The paper used here is scraps I had leftover from a Kaisercraft range from last year. The cardstock is Poppy parade by stampin Up and the stockings were punched from a Stampin Up punch. A must have in your xmas box! today I have been sorting through photos to put in the scrapbook layout I did last night over at Paper flourish with a visiting Prima demonstrater from canada. It was a great night, and I truly learnt a lot, but I think it would be easier to pick out your photos and build your page around them – The page we did was full of gorgeous products, but I have 2 boys, and 5 nephews ( Only 1 niece)  so its a challenge to match photos, but I got there in the end and look forward to tonight when I will put it all together.. Til tomorrow…..

Prima Romantique no. 2

When I had the se papers out for yesterdays card I made this quick card as well. The rest of the papers have been put away waitng for the matching chipboard to arrive. The papers are Prima Romantique, and the acetate frome and birds are by kaisercraft. A quick , easy card today!Til tomorrow….

Trendsetter

Now, before we start I just want to apologise for the photo quality – and for upcoming posts as well – my photogragher has had to put his camera in to be fixed and it won’t be back for 4 – 6 weeks. The poor thing feels like he has lost a body part – its not often you see him without his camera. to be fair his camera had taken over 100,ooo photos in just 18 months! So tonights photo was taken with his new Iphone. the paper collection and trim is websters pages Trendsetter and the cardstock is Stampin Up Melon Mambo. These are great teen girl cards.I’m almost finished my xmas cards, and won’t I be glad to move on… Til tomorrow…

Pink Gelato

Todays card revisits an older kaisercraft paper collection called pink Gelato. the reason I dug it out was to use with some diecuts I didn’t have when the collection came out, and I have created completely different cards with it this time round. sometimes it doesn’t hurt to hang on to papers! I made the flowers with stampin Up sizzix blossom party die, and I also used my martha stewart butterfly punch. Til tomorrow….

Silly Season

Todays card uses papers from Kaisercraft xmas range called Silly Season.I stamped the sentiment and added a ribbon, and that’s all! Very restrained. I ran a class at Paper flourish today, and this is the paper collection we used, and my ladies from the class, who do check what I am up to in blogland will realise that this card was made with the leftovers from the class. Homework! On that note – to Linda – the full description of the acetate and diecut pieces used on Christmas cards on a recent post is – K & Company BW Evergreen die cut cardstock and acetate. The product code is 30-243644.Tonight I have a couple of orders to fulfill, and then I will possibly play with my new Melissa francis Christmas papers, and I have promised myself no more buying Christmas papers! Til tomorrow….

Tis the season….

Again I think I have mixed and matched my Kaisercraft collections – Tis the season and december 25th, and on this card a tag. The cardstock is stampin Up Always artichoke, and I added a little organza bow. I have spent spme time in the card room today, but it was to organise my cardstock which took 2 hours! At least now I know what I have, and i will go in there after tea and come up with some new mens cards. Til tomorrow….
