Kaisercraft On This day 7 and 8

IMG_4548 (Medium)IMG_4550 (Medium)Two cards today, both using Kaisercraft On This day paper pad and collectables. The top card is still following the wedding themd, but the bottom card is a sympathy card. a lot of the images in this collection can be used for so many different themes. I have had a lovely day in the craft room – actually finished using one paper collection, tidied a little bit, ad then made a dozen Mothers day cards. Those ones won’t make it to my blog as I have had to put them straight into my lunch room boxes as people are already asking for them.I have also palyed alittle bit with my new bo bunny paper – took a card or two to settle into the swing of that paper but I am on a roll now! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft On This day number 6

IMG_4547 (Medium)Kaisercraft On This day 6″paper pad and matching collectables. I have used a scalloped edge punch for the top layer, and wrapped my ribbon around that before sticking to the card front. A ribbon bow and some kindyglitz to finish! I saw the new kaisercraft papers today, but ( shock) I didn’t buy any!I must really be serious about using up the over abundance of paper in my craft room!I did however buy some sheets of the new bo bunny paper – Primrose. I fell in love with the pastel colours in that range , so hopefully will get into the craft room this weekend to make some Mothers day cards with it. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft On this day number 5

IMG_4546 (Medium)again this card could be used for a few different celebrations – Anniversary, wedding or engagement. The paper collection is Kaisercraft on this day, and I have used a bit of a 12 x 12 sheet for the background, and some collectables and ribbon. I rounded my corners on this one. quick post tonight, as tea is cooking as we speak! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft On This day 4

IMG_4544 (Medium)Lots of layering on this one! Kaisercraft On This Day 6″paper pad, collectables, and the sentiment was from a bit of the 12 x 12 paper. This one would be suitable for wedding, engagement or anniversary card. I( just added a ribbon bow and kindyglitz to finish. I really like the subtle colours of this paper and can’t believe it took me so long to do anything with it! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft On this day number 3

IMG_4543 (Medium)A wedding card today, made with kaisercraft On this day 6″paper pad and collectables. I sponged all my edges with Spun Sugar distress ink, and added a satin ribbon , lace and some prima flowers to finish.Today I have moved on from little girl cards, and made some cards with just a few sheets of bo bunny paper that I picked up last month. I am gradually working my way through the backlog of older paper, but to be honest  I can’t even see where I have taken it from…. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft on This day number 2

IMG_4542 (Medium)A couple of weeks ago I decided I had to make some wedding, engagement and anniversary cards for my boxes( The fair I am doing in June is not far away now and I have to fill those boxes!)and I pulled out this paper – Kiasercraft On This day. Up til now I hadn’t done much with it, so I went to town and I have a few cards in this series to show you over thew next few days. For this card I used the 6″ paper pad, and matching collectaboles, as well as a lovely satin ribbon, and it’s all mounted on stampin  up cardstock. today meanwhile, I have dug deep into the paper archives looking for papers to make little girl cards, ( there’s not  much in there for this genre!)and I have made a dozen, which Nathan and I will photo tomorrow.Til tomorrow….

Wedding card for my Niece

IMG_3022 (Medium)Tomorrow is the wedding day of my Niece and her Fiance, ( no blog tomorrow) so I thought I would show you all the card I made for them. The photo was taken with my little point and shoot, not our normal set up – but you get the general idea! I used a pearlescent cardstock, and embossed a strip for the bottom with a Stampin Up vintage embossing folder. The hearts were die cut and then embossed with two different folders, a strip of lace and ribbon, silver leaves punched out, and prima flowers and bling to finish.Til the day after tomorrow…..

Wedding Cuttlebug card

IMG_5369 (Medium)IMG_5374 (Medium)This is a card that I made for a friends wedding.I used two 6′ white cards, cut the fronts on the diagonal and stuck the backs together. I embossed the front triangles with a Hearts embossing folder, and punched the edges with  Marhta stewarts lace doily punch. I added some prima flowers, a flourish die cut and some white and silver ribbon. Then the card that i slipped into the pocket created by the shaped front – a seperate piece of white cardstock stampoed and silver embossed with a stampin up stamp, two die cut heart run through the cuttlebug in two different folders, and a little tag and flower and ribbon.I have shown a close up of the insert detail. The computer has decided to type in blue all underlined today, hopefully when I publish this it all looks normal!Til tomorrow..

White on White Wedding card – cuttlebug

IMG_5822 (Medium)There is nothing quite so classical ( and Classy) as white on white. If I am making a wedding card and I don’t know the colour theme for the wedding I always do white on white. The key here is to use texture to make the layers stand out. So – that’s embossing folders ( swiss dots and Vintage wallpaper from stampin Up on this one) foam pads for height, and lace, ribbon, pearls and assorted flowers for mor texture and interest. The little strip of gold embossed paper is from Kaisercraft After  5 6″pad. Tomorrow I am setting up my craft fair stall, so post may be a little late, and I will try to stick to daily blogs over the weekend to let you all know how I am going, getting quite excited now! Til tomorrow….

Wedding card – On This day..

IMG_5818 (Medium)I don’t often use patterned papers for wedding cards – I usually like quite plain cards with a little cuttlebugging for these type of cards, but this paper is from Kiasercraft and called On This day so I thought it was wholly appropriate for a wedding card! I also used the matching collectables, and the stamp set that is released to match this collection. I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder, and added a little lace and opal liquid pearls. I am now all organised for my craft fair this weekend, and getting quite excited – can’t wait to meet so many fellow crafters in one place..Til tomorrow…
