Still on the male card theme, tonight I have used a stamp that I bought from Stampin Up along with some Stampin Up designer paper. The style is the same for both cards, I just mixed it up with the papers ans did a lot of matting! Stamps like these are very handy for those hard to do mens cards!Tonight I have moved my crafting to the dining room table – more room! and I have taken the heater with me so I am all set for a marathon crafting session. Til tomorrow….
Mens card today!
A few technical difficulties, but I got here in the end! Todays card is a male card, with a bit of stamping, and embossing. The stamp set is from Stampin Up, Countryside, and the embossing folder is a sizzix tim holt – bricked wall. The sentiment is also from Stampin Up, and I added a button and some linen thread for a little added texture. The stamped images were stamped with stampin up soft suede ink. A short weekend for me this weekend, a couple of classes , a back to work a day early, but the bonus is a nice long weekend next weekend! Til tomorrow…..
Vintage gingham garden
The paper I used on this card is from Stampin up – Gingham garden. Although the colours are quite modern I couldn’t resist giving this one a bit of a vintage twist – by adding ribbon, lace, a flower and a doily which I coloured with my squeezed lemonade distress ink pad. I am quite liking the yelolow/ pink colour combination at the moment1The sentiment is also from stampin up. Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Secret Admirer number 10
While looking through my files to post something tonight I found a card that never made it to my blog when I made this series. The paper collection is Kaisercraft Secret Admirer, and it was a favourite when it was released.I think I still have some left, but always full of good intentions to get back to paper collections , it hasn’t happened yet! I teamed the paper with the matching collectables for this card, and added some ribbon and rhinestone strips and butterflies punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I have been in the craft room in the evenings this week fulfilling some orders, but tonight is T.V. Night! til tomorrow…..
Stamped fuschia card
Very slow internet tonight – very nearly didn’t get this post done, but here we are – A kazzazz Fuschia stamp, which i coloured with my distress markers and an aqua brush. The cardstock is Stampin up pink Pirouette and wisteria wonder, and the border embossing folder is by Darice. The ribbons and sentiment stamp are from Stampin Up. Well thats my weekend officially over – went far too quickly, but at least I got my October lessons done. I have laid out some things on my craft table to do a scrap book page, so will work on that on and off this week, til tomorrow,…..
Butterfly stamps
A stamping Card today. I used Kaisercraft butterfly stamps and lined them up down the cardstock. I coloured them with distress inks , and then layered onto some kaisercraft patterned paper. Added lace, a flower and a punched leaf frond, inked around all my edges, and stuck the whole lot onto stampin up cardstock.I have been busy making Sympathy cards today, and now I am going to work on some classes for October. Til tomorrow….
Stampin Up Sycamore street
Something a bit different from last nights card – a nice bright one with lots of colour! Everything here is Stampin Up. The cardstock is Marina Mist and Pool Party. Embossing folder is Hexagon, and I embossed a few differents bits of designer paper ( from the Sycamore Street range) and fussy cut out the hexagons to stick over the embossed panel. I added a few matching buttons tied with linen thread, and stamped an itty bitty banner for the greeting.this one is a great way to use up all those little bits of scraps at the end of a crafting session! Til tomorrow….
Cuttlebug card – white on white baby
No colour co-ordinating dilemmas on this card! i did go through a white on white phase a little while ago, and this was one of the cards i created. The embossing folders i used were cuttlebug swiss dots, and stampin up square lattice. I cut the banners at various lengths, and punched out four circles with a 1″ circle punch, and inked around the edges of them with pale pink ink. i used a piece of wool fibre across the top, some pink ribbon bows, and a prima lace rosette down in the corner. This one was so simple, but I love the effect of white on white for this card.I had a great time with my ladies this morning, and am looking forward to a weekend of crafting – the weather here is cold and wet, so a lovely weekend for crafting.. Til tomorrow….
kaisercraft true romance 9 and 10 – stepped up..
This is an interesting one tonight – Kaisercraft True Romance paper collection, and matching collectables on both cards, but the card on the left is a simpler card, and for the card on the right I stepped it up by adding lace and a doily, and making a tag.I inked around all pieces with a pink ink pad.Thats it for this collection for now, tomorrow we will have a look at something new! Til tomorrow….
