Another card made with some old Echo Park papers – For the record, made while I was meant to be clearing out some space for new stuff – this is why my craft room is overflowing – I am too easily distracted! I used stampin up cardstock, and kaisercraft mini sticker letters and a kaisercraft brad for this one along with some mesh.I have had a lovely morning with my mature ladies, and hope to spend a little time in the craft room this evening working on a class for the retirement village ladies. Til tomorrow….
One for the boys….
I spent a day last week going through my paper collection, and as I was tidying, I kept stopping to make cards with the papers i was unearthing, so over the next few days I will show you these – some of the papers may not be available now, but you would be able to get the same result with current papers, the sketch ideas work with most papers. This one was Echo Park For the record paper collection, and I used Stampin Up Hearts a Flurtter dies to die cut the banner across the top. The little letters are kaisercraft mini stickers, and the paper already had “boy” splet out – Handy1 Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 secret garden number 5
This id the last in my Graphic 45 secret garden series for now, and i had fun with this one! A couple of dies used – spellbinders nested tea cups for the vase, and Poppystamps madison window die. a punch for a bit of greenery in the vase, and 3 kaisercraft flowers to fill the vase. I backed the window with some acetate, and used secret garden papers for the little girls image and the wallpaper background. Once made I couldn’t decide what ocxcasion it would be best used for and nearly kept it in my private collection (!) but thought maybe it would be suitable as a Mothers day card – we will see, if I still have it after Mothers day I will add it to my growing collection of cards I like too much to sell. Til tomorrow….
secret garden number 4
Anoher simple design, using the Secret Garden papers from Graphic 45. I fussy cut some paper to run down the right hand side of the card, and added some ribbon to hide the join.Another hot day here – it’s starting to get boring now….. so once again very little time spent in the craft room today, til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 secret garden number 3
Graphic 45 secret garden patterned paper, and the image on this panel of paper doesn’t need anything else but a strip of lace! The cardstock is stampin up baja breeze. very quick and easy! the weather is still conspiring against me, as well as hot it is now humid and there is so much moisture in the air my cardstock is warping so again no visits to the craft room, although I did manage to make a few this morning before it really heated up- ready for a change of weather now…. til tomorrow…
graphic 45 secret garden number 2
Graphic 45 secret garden patterned papers, layered a couple of times, and just a little lace and a handmade flower made with the same patterned paper using spellbinders bitty blossoms die. Quick post today, as I am heading into the craft room for the first time all week, and have many ideas to get down on paper! Til tomorrow….
graphic 45 Secret garden number 1
I only bought this range of papers ( Graphic 45 secret garden) the other day, but I couldn’t wait to start creating with it. it is by far my favourite range of papers at the moment! This first card is very simple, just one piece of patterned paper onto my card base, a little fussy cutting of another sheet and some lace, stampin up trim , a flower and some leaves punched from martha stewart frond punch to finish.Still hot here, I taught a very small class this morning, and we had some issues with the glue drying too quickly ( thats never happened before) so once again, there will probably be no crafting tonight – I am a bit over this hot weather! Til tomorrow….
Stampin Up tea for two number 4
This is the last card using Tea for two designer paper ( stampin Up) for just now, and here, I have used very vanilla, basic grey and pink pirouette cardstock, ( embossed the vanilla with Stampin Up lacy Brocade embossing folder) and a couple of dies – spellbinders D-lites medallion four, and stampin up Dress up framelits. The sentiment is from my stampin up vintage verses set, and I added lace, ribbon, liquid pearls and a prima flower to finish.Today I bought up a storm buying lots of new release papers, and tonight I am going to spend some time going through them all, and fussy cutting some of them ready to use. Its still hot here, and it’s not good weather for crafting as the glue dries before you get it where you want it to go! Til tomorrow….
Stampin Up tea for Two number 3
I fussy cut some images for this card, using the Tea for Two designer papers from Stampin Up.The doily is die cut from more of the paper from the same range using a spellbinders D- Lites die – medallion four, and the embossing folder used with the very vanilla cardstock is stampin up lacy brocade. The card base and ribbon are stampin up pink piruoette.I am planning tonight to spend a little time in the craft room, but we will see – it’s still very hot here, til tomorrow….
stampin up Tea for two number 2
A bit more paper from the Tea for two designer paper range from Stampin Up. This time I cut out some of the hexagonal paper, and layered it onto each other to make this hexagonal flower, and added an inked doily, a bit more paper wrapped in twine, and stamped a sentiment from the Vintage verses stamp set with soft suede ink. The embossed background was achieved with my stampin up honeycomb embossing folder onto very vanilla cardstock, and the card base is stampin Up Bashful Blue.I have finished making the sewing box I was doing, and am eager to get back to my cardmaking, but once again it is incredibly hot here, so it may be a cool night under the air conditioner watching t.v! Til tomorrow…..
