Kaisercraft secrat admirer number 9

IMG_1188 (Medium)I am sorry I have been a bit of an erratic blogger this week, but we have had terrible trouble with our internet provider. hopefully its all sorted now, and here we are with todays post! Still using Kaisercraft Secret admirer collection, and I made a banner to go across the top, tied with pretty white bows. I used kaisercraft bling strips as flower stems, and some kaiser craft resin flowers – I love these! The cardstock is stampin Up melon Mambo. I have been busy in the craft room this week putting together a 20 card order, but that’s done now, and I am going to find my graphic 45 songbird collection and make some cards with that, I barely touched it when I first got it, so can’t wait to really get stuck into that! Til tomorrow….

As promised here is the you tube video Nathan and I have been working on, showing you how I make my card in a box box.Once you get the hang of these they are quick and easy, and are ideal for those cards that have quite a lot of embellishments that don’t fit into normal envelopes. feedback is more than welcome, and if anything is unclear please let me know! Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Secret Admirer number 8

IMG_1182 (Medium)Here is number 8 in my kaisercraft secret Admirer series. I used the 6″ pad and matching collectables for this one, and I also used the secret Admirer doily stamps in the top right and bottom left corners. I layered various collectables, and added some bright pink ribbon and kaisercraft rhinestones to finish. Today Nathan and I have been filming a you tube clip on how I make my card in a box box, which hopefully I will post tomorrow . He has to try and edit out a bit of background noise – normally we have the house to ourselves when we do our clips, but not the case today, and it was a bit noisy – even though they were all told “quiet on the set”!We will see how it turns out – you may have to ignore assorted barking dogs etc.. Kaisercraft Secret admirer number 7

IMG_1181 (Medium)This is an early post today – I missed yesterdays as we had problems with our internet – it’s amazing how that brings most of the household to a grinding halt ! Todays card uses Kaisercraft Secret Admirer 6″ pad and matching collectables- this collection was a little different – kaisercraft brought out 2 different collectables packs, one of which was mainly die cut doilies, and its this pack that I used here. I tucked one behind a panel from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, and used the other as abase for my group of martha stewart punched frond leaves, flowers and ribbon, and slid a Prima hat pin behind. Kaisercraft Secret Admirer number 6

IMG_1190 (Medium)I had a lovely morning with a large group of ladies in my class today, and we were using Kaisercraft Secret Admirer patterned paper, so I thought this afternoon we would revisit this collection, as I still have quite a few cards to show in my files. This one uses the 12 x12 paper, and the matching collectables.I punched a border strip using a martha stewart lace doily punch out of some lovely pink kaisercard, and blinged it up with kaisercraft rhinestones and sparklets. the sentiment is stamped using a stamp from Stampin Up perfectly penned set. This afternoon I have been creating with some basic grey paper, a short break to cook some dinner, and I will be back in the craft room to finish what i have started! Til tomorrow….

DoCrafts Art Deco number 1

IMG_1161 (Medium)I bought An A4 Ultimate Die – cut and paper pack called Art Deco by Do Crafts,, and this is the first card I made using it. I have a couple more waiting to be photograghed, which hopefully will happen this weekend, but I wanted to share this one. The pack is chock a block with everything you need to create, and for this card I just added some plain cardstock layering and some bling which was perfect for this style. I am now on the hunt for some feathers. I think they would work perfectly with this collection.I’ve been checking out my galah, but he is the wrong colour! Til tomorrow….

October Afternoon farm girl number 13

IMG_1179 (Medium)Here it is – the Final October afternoon farm Girl card – what a marathon! Thanks for sticking with it! I always try to make a male card with any of the collection I play with, so this is it for the October afternoon farm Girl collection. I love the woodgrain paper, so it was easy to use it as my first layer, onto a base of Stampin Up Crumbcake cardstock. I cut out a couple of the seed packets, and wrapped one with twine, and stamped a wheelbarrow with my Stampin Up Countryside stamp set.Tomorrow onto something different! Til tomorrow….

October Afternoon Farm Girl number 12

IMG_1177 (Medium)This is the second to last October Afternoon farm Girl card. I layered a couple of papers, fussy cut one of the flowers from another sheet, and added two of the seed packet images. I finished with seam binding, and a wheelbarrow stamped from my Stampin Up Countryside stamp set. quick post tonight as its shopping night, til tomorrow…..

October Afternoon farm Girl number 10 and 11

IMG_1175 (Medium)New Home cards today! These two cards were made with October Afternoon Farm Girl papers. The one on the left has some interesting layering on it, which used up a little bit of the scrappy off cuts I had on the table left from previously made cards.I fussy cut some of the little flowers from another sheet of farm girl paper, and added some ric rac and Kaisercraft rhinestones. The houses were from the same kraft sheet as my previous post, I have had them for at least 2 years, and can’t reemember what brand they were, but they match this paper beauitully, and I have managed to use up a little more stash! I taught a class this morning, and I picked up some Tim Holtz glass bottles. I am going to make my husband a Valentines day card and put one on the card with a message inside it – I will post it when I have done it. Til tomorrow….

October afternoon Farm Girl number 8 and 9

IMG_1174 (Medium)For these two cards I have done a fair bit of layering, and added ric rac, buttons, and bakers twine. The heart images are some I found in my craft stash, I have had them for years, and they came on a kraft sheet with quite a lot of home spun  images. the patterned paper is October afternoon farm Girl. Super quick post tonight as the family are waiting for me to play a board game1 Til tomorrow….
