Today I taught a class with my lovely ladies using Kaisercraft Pickled Pear papers, so thought it would be an idea to show a couple of other cards I have made using this paper collection over the next couple of days. I also used the matching collectables, and a prims canvas bird, which I coloured with a sponge a nd distress inks. The lovely branchy bits is made by stamping a kaisercraft pickled pear stamp onto acetate and cutting out. I will definitely be found in the craft room tonight, so looking forward to it! til tomorrow….
I found another Oval themed card….
While browsing through my files deciding what to post today, I found a couple more oval themed cards. Here they are! The papers are Miss Nelly by Kaisercraft – I have done a few cards with this paper recently because I wanted to use it up to make room for some new purchases. I forgot how pretty it is. anyway, The ovals are embossed using Stampin Up designer frames oval embossing folder and I fussy cut around them, Martha stewart butterfly punch, memory box la Rue flourish, assorted stampin up sentiment stamps, and flowers and ribbons to finish. Shopping tonight, so no crafting for me, til tomorrow….
spellbinders labels seventeen number 4 and 5
two cards today, a simple one on the left, and for the one on the right I die cut my label, cut it in half and placed the pieces on the top and bottom of my card. The images are from Kaisercraft Timeless collectables, and the paper is Prima Craftsman.Very hot day here in Adelaide, so won’t be visiting the craft room tonight – a night under the air conditioner is on the cards! Til tomorrow…
Spellbinders labels seventeen number 3

There are two views of todays card, because the is a bit of work on the inside as well as the outside! I covered the front of the card ( all papers used are Kaisercraft Miss Nelly) and used the spellbinders label seventeen to die cut an aperture. The piece that was cut out was stuck inside on top of some more patterned paper, and I added a couple of butterflies die cut from Cheery Lyn exotic butterfly small #2. just added some bright ribbon and bling to finish. This is a simple card to make but looks really effective, and I must remember to make more like this! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Miss Nelly
On a close inspection I have realised I didn’t use my labels seventeen die on this card, which ruins my whole theme thing I had started. So today, just imagine that instead of using the pre cut shapes that came with the Kaisercraft Miss nelly 6″pad I had cut them with my die!For the rest of the card – I punched corners out of the matting paper, stamped a sentiment from Stampin Up curly Cute set, added some lace and made a flower with my sizzix Tim Holtz Paper Rosette die, adding a kaisercraft sparklet and leaves to finish. Have had a lovely afternoon getting inky fingers with my Mum as we played with a plethora of new stamps. As soon as I organise nathan I will have lots of new cards to show you! Til tomorrow…
Labels seventeen card 1
I am starting a new series today. Over the next few days I will show a variety of cards, with one thing in common – The spellbinder is the same on each card – I challenged myself to come up with a variety of different ways to use spellbinders Labels Seventeen. For this first card I have used it the way most of us use our spellbinder labels – as a mat. The paper is kaisercraft Timeless, and I also used the matching collectables. This collectables pack is great because there is a great mix of images for mens and ladies cards so good value. The weekend has just begun for me, and I am looking forward to spending quality time in the craft room, but also have to write out my xmas cards and get them in the post! Til tomorrow….

madison window die – christmas 2
This is the last card for now, that I have to show using my Madison window die ( from poppystamps). The brick wall background is my tim Holtz Bricked wall embossing folder which I inked before running it through the cuttlebug. As with yesterdays card I added a little lace behind the window for curtains, and I used a stampin Up christmas stamp for the view inside the window. The grass is done using the grassland die also from poppystamps.I have been so busy this week, not much crafting happening – I hope to get into my room tomorrow for a little while – I am missing my crafting! Til tomorrow….
Madison window die – Christmas…
Todays post is a Christmas card made with a poppystamps madison window die.I backed it with some acetate, and stuck some lace on the other side to mimic curtains. The brick wall was created with my tim Holtz bricked wall embossing folder which I inked before running through the cuttlebug. The tree stamp was free with a magazine, and I embossed it in gold on the right hand side card. I cut the grass with a poppystamps grasslands die, and added some bling to the tree to finish. Til tomorrow….
madison window die
Nothing but headaches with my blog today – why do wordpress keep changing things, just as I learn how to do it the old way?Anyway,I bought some new dies a little while ago, -Madison window die and various accessories so over the next couple of days I will show you what I have been creating with them.Today I used kaisercraft Miss Nelly papers, and a Tim Holtz bricked embossing folder ( which I swiped with ink before embossing) for the brick wall.I used the madison window die, and backed it with some acetate, and more patterned paper. I filled the Poppy stamps window box die with flowers and leaves punched from my Martha Stewart punches and the Bike was stamped using a stamp from stampin Up Pedal presents stamp set. I hope this post makes sense – my computer has been moved into the room that my Galah resides in while the computer room is being painted and the whole time I have been typing he has been making the same tap tap tapping sound s behind my back – he is very distracting and highly entertaining – cheered me up no end!
