Cheers to you

Another male card! I have used a Stampin Up stamp set – Cheers to you that was one of my first purchases from stampin Up to create this one, and teamed it up with My Minds Eye Be Amazing 6″ paper pad, a recent purchase. I coloured the stamped images with twinkling H2O’s.A quick and easy mens card. I had alovely day today over at the retirement village where we conducted our annual Mothers day cardmaking for the troops. The ladies did a great job, and when I left the count was up to 60 cards made and ready to send.I will be in the card room tonight doing a couple of orders,. Til tomorrow….

The Open Sea

While we are on a bit of a roll with mens cards, I thought I would post this one I made, using all stampin Up supplies. The stamp set is called the open sea, and I used sahara sand, cherry cobbler and not quite navy cardstock, and the same in ink. I tied some bakers twine down one side. A day off tomorrow and I am certainly looking forward to that! I will be doing a fair ammonut of crafting – I have a Mothers day cards marathon to attend, and a couple of orders to fulfill. Shopping tonight, so no crafting tonight.. Til tomorrow….

Easter card

Here is a quick Easter card I made using Kaisercraft Tiny Woods 6″paper pad and matching collectables. I did a little fussy cutting out of a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, and the cardstock I used was Stampin Up Real Red. Another busy day at work today, i am finding it hard to get back into the swong of it, so may just relax tonight, and rest my weary legs! Til tomorrow…

graphic 45 kraft reflections

I bought a couple of sheets of Graphic 45 new range – Kraft Reflections because I thought they would make great mens cards, and this is my first design. I used some graphic 45 A proper Gentleman patterned paper, and some stampin up cardstock run through the cuttlebug witth a cuttlebug clockworks folder. The bakers twine is from stampin up.I have used lots of this bakers twine – it comes as a 25metre buy, and I am probably going to have to buy more! Back at work today – very sore feet – I will just be relaxing tonight! Til tomorrow…..

Little darlings 4

Welcome to my new subscriber! Today is the final in my Graphic 45 little darlings series for now. I have added lace and ribbon, and stamped the greeting with Stampin Up Petite pairs, and four frames stamps before punching out with the matching decorative punch. Ink used was stampin up Baja Breeze. Today is my last day of holidays, and I have spent a little bit of it working towards my goal of using up at least one of my paper collections. It is a bigger job than I thought… I have made 18 more cards with my Kaisercraft English Rose  bits and pieces, and still there are more cards to made with it.. I am thinking I might take the rest with me on Friday to the Mothers day card marathon and let the ladies finish it for me! Now I must go and dig out my uniform and find my lunchbox, why do holidays go so quickly? Til tomorrow….

Little Darlings 3

This card made itself – Graphic 45 Little darlings paper, and a little bit of ribbon, nothing easier! No card making today – I have been visiting Mum and dad at the retirement village, and now it’s tea time. I may go into the craft room later, but it will be to gather bits and pieces together for our big marathon on Friday to make mothers day cards for the troops.Til tomorrow….

Little Darlings 2

Here is number 2 in my Graphic 45 Little darlings series. Have i said how much I like these pastel colours? I used bazzil cardstock, only because stampin Up don’t do a soft apricot cardstock – a shame – and some ribbon, lace and kindyglitz. Today I have gone back to my resolution of actually finishing some of the paper collections I have, and I have dug out a range of Kaisercrafts from last year – English Rose. You know it is quite amazing how many cards you can get out of one 6″ pad. One day I will actually count how many I manage…. Til tomorrow…

Graphic 45 Little darlings

I love the pastel shades of this new paper from graphic 45 – Little darlings. I used stampin up cardstock – pink piroutte for the base card, and added a little bit of lace, and fussy cut a couple of the butterflies from the paper , mounted the panel on cream bazil and inked the edges with tim holtz tumbled glass ink. I have been playing around with stamps and ink today, I only recently bought a craft mat – how did I ever manage without one? hopefully tomorrow Nathan will get the camera out and I can show you what I have done.. Til tomorrow….

Howdy Doody 4

Very quick post before i have to go and prepare tea.. This is the final in the My Minds Eye Howdy Doody series, for now. I combined the lovely paper with a Stamp from Stampin Up – Fresh Vintage, and coloured it with markers. I also used a Cheery Lyn die – Kiwi, ans a spellbinders label die, through my cuttlebug. I just added some liquid pearls and some seam binding. The gorgeous brad is  from the My Minds eye howdy doody collection as well. Today I have been taking advantage of my holidays and doing some experimenting in the craft room… Til tomorrow….

What I am doing today…

I t is a lovely cool rainy day here in Adelaide – perfect for cardmaking so I have been most of the day in the craft room, and I thought I would show you what I have bben creating – We will photo these cards seperately  on the weekend, but for now a sneaky peek – all using Kaisercraft These days papers. ( that is my little shadow, patiently waiting at my feet) .When I first pulled this paper out I thought what was I thinking – it is really for scrapbooking, but once I got started the ideas really flowed – my fingers couldn’t keep up with my brain! I love days like that!
