Trendsetter

Now, before we start I just want to apologise for the photo quality – and for upcoming posts as well – my photogragher has had to put his camera in to be fixed and it won’t be back for 4 – 6 weeks. The poor thing feels like he has lost a body part – its not often you see him without his camera. to be fair his camera had taken over 100,ooo photos in just 18 months! So tonights photo was taken with his new Iphone. the paper collection and trim is websters pages Trendsetter and the cardstock is Stampin Up Melon Mambo. These are great teen girl cards.I’m almost finished my xmas cards, and won’t I be glad to move on… Til tomorrow…

Pink Gelato

Todays card revisits an older kaisercraft paper collection called pink Gelato. the reason I dug it out was to use with some diecuts I didn’t have when the collection came out, and I have created completely different cards with it this time round. sometimes it doesn’t hurt to hang on to papers! I made the flowers with stampin Up sizzix blossom party die, and I also used my martha stewart butterfly punch. Til tomorrow….

Die cut Canvas flowers

Please excuse the slightly blurry quality of this photo –  I took it, not my usual resident photogragher and know you can all see why Nathan does the photos for me! I used My Minds Eye Lost and Found Blush patterned paper and brads on this card` and the flowers were made with my sizzix Stampin Up blossom party die. I used Teresa Collins canvas, and which was a cream colour. I used three different inks and sponged the colours on in quite a random fashion, and overstamped with a script stamp. It went through the cuttlebug beautifully, and I reinforced it with cardstock also cut with the die through the cuttlebug. The bow was cream seam binding which I dyed with matching ink – its a bit blotchy – I will have to practise a bit more! Til tomorrow…..

Teen boy revisited

I think I have shown a card using this stamp – Papermania Nostalgia set – before, but today I have used it with Well worn designer paper and Soft Suede cardstock by Stampin Up. I covered the front of the card with Kaisercraft music printed acetate and fixed it with a few black brads. I have had quite a busy day here at home, and I’m not finished yet – the dry washing is waiting for me to fold it, Til tomorrow……

Mainly Cuttlebug 2..

I have called this post mainly cuttlebug because all the embellishments were made using my cuttlebug and this list of dies – Sizzix dies – tattered florals, 3d floral, thanks, and Stampin up leaves die. The papers are from kaisercraft Pink Gelato collection, and I also used a martha stewart punch and some bling and ribbon.I have officially started 2 weeks holidays, so I am looking forward to some rest and relaxation! Til tomorrow….

Silly Season

Todays card uses papers from Kaisercraft xmas range called Silly Season.I stamped the sentiment and added a ribbon, and that’s all! Very restrained. I ran a class at Paper flourish today, and this is the paper collection we used, and my ladies from the class, who do check what I am up to in blogland will realise that this card was made with the leftovers from the class. Homework! On that note – to Linda – the full description of the acetate and diecut pieces used on Christmas cards on a recent post is – K & Company BW Evergreen die cut cardstock and acetate. The product code is 30-243644.Tonight I have a couple of orders to fulfill, and then I will possibly play with my new Melissa francis Christmas papers, and I have promised myself no more buying Christmas papers! Til tomorrow….

Tis the season….

Again I think I have mixed and matched my Kaisercraft collections – Tis the season and december 25th, and on this card a tag. The cardstock is stampin Up Always artichoke, and I added a little organza bow. I have spent spme time in the card room today, but it was to organise my cardstock which took 2 hours! At least now I know what I have, and i will go in there after tea and come up with some new mens cards. Til tomorrow….

More Xmas!

Upon investigation I have found that I have used 2 different collections for this card, and realise that they really go well together! They are kaisercraft Tis the season ( 6″ paper pad) and Kaisercraft December 25th ( a 12 x 12 sheet full of xmas images – a cost effective way to make your cards) . All I added was an organza ribbbon and some kindyglitz for santas beard! The cardstock is as almost always Stampin Up ( colour – Popppy Parade). I have only made a couple of cards so far with these papers but have put them out on my table and tonight I will get in there with my itchy fingers and make some more! Til tomorrow….

A gift….

A Friend of mine gave me this gorgeous tag, I’m not sure where she got it from, and although  I displayed it for a while I couldn’t resist turning it into a card to better display it! I used Early espresso cardstock from stampin up, and Kaisercraft Hunt and gather paper, and found a couple of very old buttons in grans button box.Back to xmas cards tonight. til tomorrow…..

Lots of butterflies….

Butterflies are always popular on cards, and this paper by Prima reflections is beautiful. I did a lot of die cutting on this card – I used stampin up sizzix dies blossoms and flourish, and a sizzix 3d flower die. I used a Kaisercraft sparklet or two and some gorgeous satin ribbon to finish.Today i have been colouring some xmas images and tonight I will put some xmas cards together. Til tomorrow…..
