This is still graphic 45 once apon a springtime patterned paper which is the same collection as the previous post, but a totally different look, which is why I have so many cards on my blog made with this series. it’s such a versatile collection, and i love the colours. I have used Stampin Up textured cardstock ( Taken with teal – sadly retired) and a flower and organza ribbon on this one. Tonight I’m doing boys cards – always a challenge! Til tomorrow….
Once apon a springtime….
For this card I did a bit of fussy cutting – there are lovely peter rabbit images on this paper – Graphic 45 Once upon a springtime. I also used my nestabilities labels 8 dies, and some bazzil cardstock. I will hit the card room tonight for a little while, to relax after my busy day at work, but no clear project in mind yet! Til tomorrow….
New stamp
I made this card using my newest stamp – Papermania docrafts Lilac. Perfect plum stampin up cardstock was used for the base, and Basic grey Wisteria patterned paper 6″ pad was used for the background matting. I coloured the image using my stampin up ink pads and an aquamarker. Haven’t been doing much crafting this week as I haven’t been well, but all back to normal now, and I’m looking forward to going back into the craft room!Til tomorrow….
First xmas cards!
I know it’s really early to be starting on xmas cards, but I was making the previous posts cards with the Cosmo Cricket odds and ends paper pad, and I thought it wouldn’t take much at all to make xmas cards out of this paper, and it didn’t !All I added were some small stamped images ( Xmas tree and father xmas) and there you are, xmas cards without using xmas paper! Til tomorrow…..

New design – no name!
This is a design in progress! I am still working on the best way to attach the three panels together. Here I have used punched circles, but I think long tabs are the way to go, so will try that next. I used the largest Labels eight die in the nestabilities set to cut the Riding hood red stampin up cardstock, and then used an assortment of Kaisercraft Velvet Ensemble paper, chipboard, brad and bling, some graphic 45 dancing ladies paper, and a bit of ribbon.Does anyone know what this design is called? Please let me know! Til tomorrow….
Today was the marathon cardmaking day over at the village to make xmas cards for the troops overseas. We had a great time, lots of laughs and a lovely lunch supplied by the ladies. Our grand total was 180 cards, with 50 of those donated by Sue, a lovely lady in my Paper Flourish cardmaking class. To see a larger version of the photos just click on the image. Til tomorrow…..
Birthday Book page
Last night I showed the cover of my Birthday book, tonight here is one of the pages. The gorgeous paper is from Megs garden, and the book image is a stamp from Oxford Impressions Jane Austen set.Today I finished setting up my village class, and in a minute I will go and get all my xmas gear ready for our xmas cards for the troops marathon which we are holding tomorrow. Til tomorrow…..
Birthday Book
In a complete break from tradition, I have been making Birthday books, and thought today I would show you the front cover of my latest one. Tomorrow I will show a random page from inside it. I used Megs garden Couture collection, mainly because I couldn’t bear to cut into this beautiful paper to make cards, and it doesn’t need much embellishment , just a squeeze of liquid pearls. I bound my book with my zutter bind – it all. Not feeling so well today, so will just sit for a little while in front of the t.v. tonight and then back to bed. Til tomorrow…..
