Dress cards

I’m always trying to come up with new ideas for dress cards, as they are very popular for teenage girls. For these ones I hand cut the dresses from October Afternoon “thrift shop”paper and used the same collection on the backgrounds. the rest of the cards were made up with assorted buttons,ribbon,flowers and lace. The tags on two of the cards are Melissa Frances mini flashcards. I have finished my birthday book, just waiting for a template for the actual pages, and then I’ll be in business! Til tomorrow…..

Thank you cards

Todays group of Thank you cards were made with Prima Madeline papers and stickers.I also used stampin Up cardstock, and kindyglitz and kaisercraft bling. Today has been a busy day in the craft room making fairy and butterfly cards, but I’m ready to move on, and continue on with my Birthday book. I want to get it finished so that I can use my new Zutter bind – it -all! Til tomorrow…..

Baby Girl cards

Yesterday we had the baby boy cards I made with the Kaisercraft Lullaby papers,and today I’m showing the baby girl cards I made with the same pad. Good value!I also used some ribbon, buttons and a teddy bear brad. Well today was my first day working Saturdays, and actually it wasn’t too bad. I just have to get used to it! I’ll be in the craft room tonight making some more cards with the cricut. Til tomorrow…..

Baby cards

Today there are 2 cards,both made with Kaisercrafts Lullaby 6″ paper pad. These cards have been highly popular, I think so far I have made 18 cards from the one pad, and all of them have sold, so I have been back to the shop and bought another pad before they disappear! On these cards I also added some buttons, ribbon and dummies. Now that mothers day is past I have been able to get my cricut out for a play today, and have done some cutting, so tonight I will put a few cards together using the bits I have cut out. Bo Bunny Gabrielle

Todays post is a card I made for my sister to give to Mum for her birthday recently.I used Bo Bunny Gabrielle patterned paper, stampin up cardstock, a little ribbon and kindyglitz and a bit of fussy cutting! For the Record….

I made this card for my nephews birthday which was last month, so I’m a little behind in showing it, due to all those Mothers day cards. I used Echo Park –  For the record collection ( which I haven’t had near enough time to play with, but hopefully now I’ll be able to get to it) and Espresso Stampin up cardstock. I die cut the shapes into the backing paper and tied some twine through them. I’ve got 2 days off now, and really looking forward to resting and cardmaking for the next couple of days. Prima madeline

Todays card is a birthday card made with Prima Marketings new paper and stickers – Madeline. I also used Kaisercraft pearls, and just fussy cut around the design. Probably no card making tonight as its shopping night! Til tomorrow….

Candy lane

On a recent clean out I came across some Candy Lane (Kaisercraft ) papers and chipboard that I hadn’t used so I created these cards to use up the papers, and make some room for recent purchases. I used stampin Up cardstock. quick post tonight as I work later on a Monday now, and I’m teaching the blokes around here how to cook a meal, and its not going well…Til tomorrow….

My Minds Eye Lush

Happy Mothers Day! Todays card is made from My minds Eye Lush paper,ribbon and brad,a Maya road stick pin, Tim Holtz metal flower, magnolia jewels and a Kaisercraft Rub-on.Lots of product on that one! Quick post today as my boys are taking me out to tea ( I think)I was very lucky and got a Zutter Bind – it all for Mothers day, so now I’m off to make a book so that I can play with it! My mums Mothers day card!

I thought I would finish off the run of Mothers day cards with the card I made for my Mum . I used Prima Sparkling Spring paper and pebble,Kaisercraft rub-on and rhinestones, and Stampin Up cardstock – Melon mambo and Bashful blue.All my boys have left me tonight for their wrestling show, so I have a lovely uninterrupted evening of cardmaking to look forward to!
