Candy Lane

Tonights cards are a group I made using the new kaisercraft Candy Lane collection. I used Stampin up cardstock, and didn’t need any Kindyglitz on these ones! The doilies were from a pack I picked up at Paper Flourish. I must go and pack my bag for my class tomorrow, I will be glad when the first one is over, then I should be fine.Til tomorow…

Get well Bird

This is one of my all time favourite stamps and colour combinations. I have used Stampin Up cardstock – Baja breeze, night of navy close to cocoa and Very vanilla. The paper is a retired designer paper from Stampin up ( also a favourite ) and the Stamp is from the Friends 24-7 stamp set. Ink is Stampin up close to cocoa, baja breeze and night of navy. Tonight is t.v. night, just too tired for cardmaking, thank goodness only one more work day before my holidays start! Yay! Til tomorrow….

Dasher

Tonights card is made using a new stamp from Stampin Up – Dasher – and stampin up cardstock – Handsome Hunter, Cherry cobbler, and Very vanilla. I also used a Kaisercraft greeting stamp and cut a bit of holly out of a Kaisercraft Be merry paper. The background paper is Fancy Pants designs – Xmas magic. The dasher image has glitter on his antlers, but I think it would look just as good embossed , which I will try later. I have had no success finding my little acrylic block, so now I will have to source another one.It was only about 5 cm square, but perfect for small stamps and phrases.Oh well.. Til tomorrow….

Secret Bird Society

Tonights card uses Bazzill cardstock, Kaisercraft secret Bird Society patterned papers and tags, and a Stampin Up stamp from Natures Nest. The button, string and mesh are from my craft supply. I was planning on making some cards tonight, but I have misplaced my little acrylic block, and I can see I am going to have to have an in depth search for it. Very frustrating.. Til tomorrow….

Tea at Elsies birthday

Todays card is made using Bazzill cardstock, Kaisercraft Tea at Elsies patterned paper, Kaisercraft pearls, and ribbon and lace from my craft supply. Kay and I had a lovely day over at mums today, making cards, and showing each other new ideas, and I got my new toy from Kay – a brayer – but I am going to have to practise with it a fair bit before anyone sees anything I do with it! Til tomorrow…

Swiss dots and flowers

Here is a card with not a piece of patterned paper in sight! I woke up with this card in my head, and couldn’t settle until I had made it. I used stampin Up close to cocoa and pretty in pink cardstock,Marianne designs flower diecut, cuttle bug swiss dots folder, Stampin up flower punch, Martha stewart butterfly punch, Kaisercraft pearls ,kindyglitz and some ribbon from my craft supply. All the boys are at the gym tonight, so its an uninterrupted evevning of xmas card making! Til tomorrow….

Baby

A baby card tonight. I used Stampin Up cardstock for the base – Marina Mist, and all the rest was Websters Pages Natures Storybook.I’m doing some orders tonight, but tomorrow will be back on the xmas cards.I’m looking forward to some quality crafting time, I have been so busy at work, I’ve been too tired to do anything when I get home. One more week and then holidays.. can’t wait! Til tomorrow…

xmas mantlepiece

Here is a xmas card that uses up a lot of those scraps. The patterned paper is retired Stampin Up paper, but I thought it looked so good as wallpaper, and the rest of the card is scraps and shaped brads. No card making tonight. I’ve been grocery shopping, busy at work, and so a bit of  TV is on the agenda.Til tomorrow….

Dress cards

Tonights cards were made using Bazzill cardstock and Kaisercraft Tea at Elsies 6″paper pad. The ribbon and button came  from my craft supply, and I also made good use of my Stampin Up corner Rounder. These are simple cards to make, and the colour combinations are endless, so are a favourite of mine.I have been enjoying playing with my new Cricut, but am now eagerly waiting for some cartridges I ordered to come in the mail, meanwhile tonight I will make some quick simple cards. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Be Merry 6″ pad

Early post today,Nathan and I have been photographing cards this morning and I couldn’t wait to share this one with you. Remember my personal challenge to see how many cards I could get out of a 6″ pad? Here is the result – 25 ! Admittedly I had to set myself another personal challenge –  to complete my personal challenge, but I got there in the end. I had 4 pages of patterned paper left over, but no plain paper, so in the interests of the self imposed rules of the challenge I had to call it finished. I will use those papers on other projects though. All in all ,  a good result I thought, and good value for money. I particularly liked the fact that the pad included greetings sheets as well. Til tomorrow…
