Simple Stories I am, 1,2,3 and 4..

IMG_3080 (Medium)IMG_3082 (Medium)Last month I chose some Simple Stories paper to prepare for Mays class, and before I knew it I had made 10 cards. I couldn’t choose which cards to do for the class, so in May my ladies will be making 10 cards! Anyway, I went back and purchased for myself some more paper, and the matching brads, washi paper tape, packet of bits and pieces, and chipboard pieces, sat down over one weekend ,used it all, and made 32 cards. I love this paper! So easy to create with it. Here are the first 4 cards, we might see a few and take a bit of a break otherwise you may all get thoroughly sick of seeing it!Today I taught a lesson at Paper Flourish, and then headed to the shops to pick up some groceries as the shops are closed on Saturday for Anzac day, , my usual day for shopping.we have a busy weekend coming up as it’s Mums 80th birthday and we are having a big family shindig! Til tomorrow…..

Cuttlebug Wedding card idea

IMG_0864 (Medium)This is a card very similar to one of the cards my ladies made in a class last month. All white cardstock, and a piece of white cardstock run through a hearts embossing folder. For the cake I cut 3 squares – 5cm,4cm,and 3 cms and rounded the top corners of each, then stuck them together along the top edges of the squares. Mount on the card front with foam pads, add ribbon and punched flowers, some kaisercraft pearls, your own sentiment and this is a simple wedding card done!Off to work I go… til tomrrow…..

Kaisercraft Pitter Patter baby boy…

IMG_0853 (Medium)Before I switched to wedding cards yesterday I was making Baby cards. These two are made with Kaisercraft Pitter patter, but I have only bits and pieces left of this range so when I packed up I added the bits to my Kaisercraft bundle of Joy bits and pieces – the colours are very similar and both ranges will work well together, so the next few baby cards will be a mixture. I am ready for kaisercraft to bring out a new baby range! For these two cards shown I have just added buttons and a small ribbon bow for texture. Still raining here but not complaining! good crafting weather. Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft velvet crush,stamping and copics

IMG_0850 (Medium)IMG_0852 (Medium)I recently bought some copic colour markers and headed off to a beginners class to learn how to use them(!)and since then have been practising my colouring. Here are my first few attempts. The stamps are from my collection, the first is a magnolia stamp, and the last is a deep red stamp ( from a set of four…absolutely excellent stamp set) and I can’t remember the brand of the cupcake stamp.Anyway, I coloured, and then teamed the images with some bits and pieces I had left over from my Kaisercraft Velvet Crush collection and added assorted flowers and punched leaves to finish.Today I visited my hairdresser, who sells my cards in her salon, only to find she had sold every one of the wedding cards I had left with her. So tonight I will be in the craft room creating all things wedding…Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Mix and Match 4,5.

IMG_3078 (Medium)IMG_3079 (Medium)Here are the rest of my creations using kaisercraft Mix and Match collection. I bought the 12 x 12 pack for this collection and it contained a few papers that weren’t available in the loose form, which are the papers I have used on these two cards. the top card was kept very simple as it is for my nephews birthday, ( I fussy cut the banners from a piece of the paper) and the bottom card uses another of the fussy cut butterflies and just a little flower .The sentiments on both cards are by stampin up.Today is a day off for me and as I don’t have a class today the morning has been spent grocery shopping. It’s a bit wet outside here today, so a lovely day to spend an hour or two in the craft room! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Mix and Match 1,2,3.

IMG_3075 (Medium)IMG_3077 (Medium)A few cards today made with Kaisercraft Mix and Match. These papers have a base colour of Craft , with white, red and black. For the top two I die cut some hearts out of hessian and added a button, and for the bottom card I let the papers do all the talking, fussy cutting butterflies and chevrons .There is a sheet in this collection which is covered in gorgeous butterflies. it’s easy to colour them, but I left the ones on this card  plain. All stamps and cardstock are from stampin Up. Til tomorrow…

Kaisercraft Antique Bazaar 4 and 5

IMG_3072 (Medium)IMG_3073 (Medium)Here are the last 2 cards I have made for now with Kaisercraft Antique Bazaar 6″ pad and matching collectables.I think these 2 cards would make great graduation cards, and if I hadn’t already made the graduation cards I need this year these two would have put in the box I keep for upcoming family events. Stampin Up cardstock for both bases, and some sequins sprinkled on the bottom card.well, the weekend has flown by far too quickly, and not a lot of cards made for the fair boxes, but some lessons sorted and all orders up to date, so not too bad! til tomorrow….
