Kaisercraft Antique Bazaar number 3

IMG_3070 (Medium)Another card using Kiasercraft Antique Bazaar 6″pad and collectables. Yesterday it was all about the music and today the theme is movies!Love the collectables in this range! Tonight all my blokes are out, so it is off to the craft room for me – A couple of orders, a class or two to organise, and then if it’s not too late some experimenting with some new folds..bliss…Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Antique bazaar 1 and 2

IMG_3068 (Medium)IMG_3069 (Medium)Back to cards today, and these two are made with Kaisercraft Antique Bazaar which is a new release from Kaisercraft. I nearly didn’t buy this one as it was very similar to an older collection which I still have, but I loved the record collectables, so just bought the collectables pack and the 6″ pad.I have mixed it up a bit with the older collection which is Velvet Ensemble. If you have any of this older collection hiding in your craft space dig it out because these two collections compliment each other.A day off for me today, so I have done a very large grocery shop, and shouldn’t have to go back for at least a couple weeks, and the rest of the day will be spent relaxing in the craft room. I still have a couple of family birthday cards to make – female ones this time, so easy, and an order to fulfill, then it will be time to start thinking about lessons again! til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 steampunk Debutante..not a card..

IMG_3116 (Medium)Not a card today! Instead I thought I would show you what I made over the Easter break. I have had the printers tray for about a year now, and always knew what I wanted to do with it, and finally sat down and just did it! So co-incidental that Marcelle commented on my last post about time flying because that is the theme for this one!I used Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante paper collection, and added lots of recycled bits and pieces such as buttons, hessian, watch parts, beaded jewellery, and Prima letter tiles and canvas bird, twiddleybitz leaf flourishes, tim holtz glass bottles  and lots of other bits as well.I aged the tray a bit by lightly brushing with gold viva paint.Today is an exciting day in my blog history as well, as sometime in the next few hours someone is going to be my 200,000th visitor.Amazing! Thank you all for sticking with me – I know a lot of you have been with me from the beginning( way back in 2010)and we’ve come a long way since then! Til tomorrow…..

kaisercraft Great Southern land, the rest..

IMG_8545 (Medium)IMG_8546 (Medium)Here are the last 4 cards I made with Kaisercraft Great Southern land papers and collectables. All the remaining bits and pieces are in a bag with some other bits and pieces ready for the craft fair.Speaking of which, I have spent this morning sorting out the boxes, and making a list of cards I need to concentrate on over the next few weeks. Nathan and I also spent some time photoing a lot of cards ready for this blog, so although no crafting today, lots of necessary sorting out has been done!Til tomorrow….

This is a series of paper from kaisercraft called Great Southern Land, and the matching collectables. No other embellishing required for these ones! This afternoon has been spent in the craft room preparing an order that came through last night, and I am about to head back there to finish the 8 cards required. Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 A place in time 11 and 12

IMG_8537 (Medium)IMG_8536 (Medium)I have titled these ones  A place in time., but I am a bit torn – they could be from graphic 45 Time to celebrate…either way they are graphic 45 papers,my favourite paper company and I love working with any of their paper. Just a little layering and ribbon and lace for these 2 easy cards.Today has been a lovely relaxing day in the craft room, doing an order or two, and making some male cards for all the male birthdays coming up in our family, and in between a few cards ready for the fair boxes. I haven’t settled on one thing – just moved from paper collection and stamp set as the fancy took me- not a way I usually work, but fun just the same. I hope you are all enjoying your Easter break, til tomorrow…..

Another 2 cards with old kaisercraft paper….

IMG_8533 (Medium)Here are another 2 cards made with very old Kaisercraft Paper. Again I fussy cut the cake and candles images, and used the rest of the paper for layering. the sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up,stamped twice – once straight onto the paper, and another stamped onto some red paper and cut out. I added kindyglitz and sequins to finish.well, it’s the end of a busy week at work, and a very full and busy class this morning with all my usual lovely ladies, and 3 new ladies new to card making, so I am glad I can relax for the next few days and in between the usual weekend stuff enjoy some quality time in the craft room! Til tomorrow…..

old kaisercraft paper…

IMG_8529 (Medium)IMG_8530 (Medium)The first paper I came across when I started the big clean out was this set from kaisercraft -it must have been the first I bought, and it was before kaisercraft started releasing new collections every month and even naming their collections. It had been so long since I saw it, and new ideas for it came thick and fast.I fussy cut all the cakes, and used ribbon, sequins, lace and kindyglitz to decorate. the stamped sentiment is from Stampin up.that’s it for this morning – must get ready for work,it’s all about easter there this week! Til tomorrow….

Butterfly basics stampin Up stamp set

IMG_8565 (Medium)In the spirit of sharing everything  I have posted this one – although even I will admit it is a bit too busy! if I repeated this one the big die cut butterfly ( spellbinders die) would be die cut from plain cardstock instead of patterned paper.I stamped greenery all over the card except in the middle where I stamped the sentiment, and stamped and punched out the little butterflies in a variety of coloured inks. sequins and beads on the big butterfly, this one is a keeper not a seller!I will decorate a frame and hang it in my craft room because I love the deep and meaningful sentiment. til tomorrow…

A bit of stamping…

IMG_8562 (Medium)IMG_8564 (Medium)For a bit of a change, today i am posting a couple of stamped cards, using some recent purchases from Stampin Up. Top card…Stampin Up background papers, and a great new stamp set called Butterfly Basics – lots of different stamps in this set , some great for background work, which I stamped in yellow, stamped the butterfly in pink and punched it out with a matching butterfly punch ( which I have had for a while)and coloured the flower with prismacolour pencils.Bit of lace, ribbon and bling finished that one. The second card… I used  a big background stamp from stampin up called Something lacy, stamped some green fronds from Butterfly Basics, and again coloured the flower with prismacolour pencils.stamped and fussy cut the butterfly, added some buttons to the top corner, lace and a border punched with my Martha stewart lace border punch.Must find some time to play a bit more with this set – its so versatile! no crafting so far today, but I will spend an hour or two in the craft room tonight after tea just to wind down after a really busy week! til tomorrow….
