Today we are up to number three in my Fine and Sunny series using kaisercraft papers, and stickers, and martha stewarts picket fence punch. the little girl with the kite was fussy cut rom a piece of October Afternoon sidewalk paper, and the flag banners across the top were sickers on the Fine and Sunny sticker sheet, which brings me to my handy hint . I have made a lot of cards this week which feature various sizes of this type of banner, and even based my Paper flourish lesson for may around a few of them, and have only just now after all the work is done discovered that if you put the end of your strip into the corner of a square punch you get this banner effect cut on the end of your strip. this discovery would have saved me hours of measuring time! Any of my ladies reading this – please bring your square punch to the May lesson if you want to impress the other ladies! I have had a highly productive day in the card room.I have set up my village lesson, just in time for next Friday night, but a bit of a disaster – my Martha Stewart fern punch broke – bits of metal flew everywhere, and one of the cards relies on this punch so I am off to Paper Flourish on Sunday where hopefully I can replace it .. bit of a problem if I can’t.I also made a wedding card for my cousin, but all this was just procrastination because I have to make some teenage boy birthday cards – the hardest group of all to make for. I have made a start and we will see what happens. For now I am off to get my gear ready for work tomorrow – a bit hard because I feel in long weekend mode…Til Tomorrow….
