Happy Anniversary!

IMG_0558Today is our 37th wedding anniversary and I made this card for my husband. Sorry it appears to be on its side, although I did rotate it so not sure what is happening there, but hopefully you get the idea!I used my go press and foil to foil emboss the spotty background, and foil all the wooden pieces too. All i had to do after that was die cut the layers with a postage stamp die set. Today I paid for my stall at the June long weekend craft and hobby fair at parafield gardens, ( the recreation centre) so after the busy week I have work wise this week it will be time to sort out all my cards for the stall. But as I said, before that a very busy few days at work organising our stall at marion Leisure centre craft fair on Sunday. I am really looking forward to taking our shop on the road! I may not get back here until next Monday so until then ……

Happy Anniversary!

_MG_9438 (Medium) Today is Mum and dads 62nd wedding anniversary and the whole family is getting together to celebrate, so I thought it was fitting to post this card I made with Mambi happy 12 x 12 paper pad. I die cut the hearts from more paper of the same range, die cut some white greenery(!) with a seven paper dolls die, added a kaisercraft wooden piece that I had foiled with the go press and foil, and some flowers, rhinestones and ribbon bow to finish. I hope you are all having a happy and safe Easter. Til tomorrow…..

Prima Rossibelle number 4..

img_0714-mediumTodays card uses bits and pieces from the Prima Rossibelle collectables and matching flower. No paper on this one, so a clean and simple design.I added some copper sequins and a punched leaf( from copper glitter paper) and a bow. I love the little locket heart and nearly kept it for myself! I think that might have been the last card in this series for now, a new group starts tomorrow! til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Time to Flourish number 11 April..

IMG_0856 (Medium)Over the next couple of days I will post a few cards I made with Graphic 45 Time to celebrate, this time the two April sheets. I used a card front for this one, and did some fussy cutting, and just added a seam binding bow.In the craft room meanwhile I still have simple stories on the table ,left there from the weekend, and I am determined to finish all the bits and pieces I have left – so far I have made 25 cards with that paper ( not counting the 10 I have made for a class in may) .. I am inspired with that paper! til tomorrow….

Simple Stories the story of us numbers 11 and 12

IMG_5769 (Medium)IMG_5770 (Medium)Here are the last two cards in my simple stories – the story of us series. The top card (anniversary) has just lace and sequins added, while the bottom card just has a bit of fussy cutting and sequins.I did enjoy making these cards – the paper was so easy to work with, and I made all these cards just in one sitting.Love it when that happens.Last night I went to a class to learn how to colour with copic markers, lots to learn all at once, so today I have been in the craft room practising, but I have to get a few more colours before I can complete any of my images. So I moved onto distress ink colouring as I have a lot of images stamped out ready to paint, so no completed work today, just relaxing fun playing with colours! til tomorrow…..

Simple Stories, The story of us 7 and 8

IMG_5765 (Medium)IMG_5766 (Medium)Two more cards made with Simple stories ..The story us paper collection. I used doilies and flowers, punched leaves and liquid pearls on both these cards, and the addition of die cut hearts ( one run through my machine with a swiss dots embossing folder) on the bottom card.Today I was out and about looking for a  smaller desk for my craft room. The trestle table just invites random placing of items, and before I know it no room for me to work, but so far no luck in my search. ikea have an ideal one but they were out of stock, and I really wanted to organise my room while I was on holiday, but i will just have to wait!Til tomorrow….

IMG_4992 (Medium)IMG_4996 (Medium)An anniversary card and a generic type lets party card today made with Graphic 45 Time to Celebrate.both cards have an amount of fussy cutting, and the top card has seam binding, the bottom card just a small ribbon bow around the balloons.I have one more class for January left to set up this weekend, and then I think it might be beach themed cards as the weather has been very warm here and all thoughts are on cooler places! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft On This day 7 and 8

IMG_4548 (Medium)IMG_4550 (Medium)Two cards today, both using Kaisercraft On This day paper pad and collectables. The top card is still following the wedding themd, but the bottom card is a sympathy card. a lot of the images in this collection can be used for so many different themes. I have had a lovely day in the craft room – actually finished using one paper collection, tidied a little bit, ad then made a dozen Mothers day cards. Those ones won’t make it to my blog as I have had to put them straight into my lunch room boxes as people are already asking for them.I have also palyed alittle bit with my new bo bunny paper – took a card or two to settle into the swing of that paper but I am on a roll now! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft On This day number 6

IMG_4547 (Medium)Kaisercraft On This day 6″paper pad and matching collectables. I have used a scalloped edge punch for the top layer, and wrapped my ribbon around that before sticking to the card front. A ribbon bow and some kindyglitz to finish! I saw the new kaisercraft papers today, but ( shock) I didn’t buy any!I must really be serious about using up the over abundance of paper in my craft room!I did however buy some sheets of the new bo bunny paper – Primrose. I fell in love with the pastel colours in that range , so hopefully will get into the craft room this weekend to make some Mothers day cards with it. Til tomorrow….
