Two quick baby cards….

_MG_4249 (Medium)_MG_4250 (Medium)As i was searching through papers for another reason altogether I came across a couple of random baby papers, so sat down and made a couple of quick baby cards. I am not sure of the brand of paper for the top card, which I just cut into strips and layered and added a die cut sentiment, cut out of glitter cardstock. The bottom card is Kaisercraft papers, again layered with a fussy cut rabbit and ribbon and pacifier ( I obtained the pacifier from my nieces baby shower…she was using them in one of the games we played and I collected them all afterwards..I see handy bits and pieces everywhere!). It is another hot (42 C) day here today, but I am off to Paper Flourish for my craft and chat group monthly get together. We will have a lovely afternoon crafting and chatting surrounded by lots of lovely inspiration! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Peek a Boo.

img_0700-mediumimg_0701-mediumThe Kaisercraft Peek a Boo paper collection comes in two parts, you can purchase pink or blue, great idea, but I had to have both! I have made a few cards from both colourways and we will start with the blue. For the top card I used 2 pieces from the 6 ” pad and punched a border on one of the pieces. The tag is from the pack of collectables, and I used Kaisercraft die to die cut the pram. The chipboard piece is also from a kaisercraft pack.Butons ,ric rac and a ribbon bow to finish that one. The second card also has two pieces of patterned paper to cover the base card ( from the 12 x 12 papers) and I fussy cut the pram from another piece of the 12 x 12 paper. I fussy cut the word baby from a 12 x 12 paper and die cut Boy using a kaisercraft die. Again a chipboard piece, ribbon bow and buttons to finish. I am off to teach a class this morning, looking forward to seeing my ladies as I had to miss my december class due to the whole shoulder injury thing which is improving now but still not 100% yet! Kaisercraft Pitter Patter baby boy…

IMG_0853 (Medium)Before I switched to wedding cards yesterday I was making Baby cards. These two are made with Kaisercraft Pitter patter, but I have only bits and pieces left of this range so when I packed up I added the bits to my Kaisercraft bundle of Joy bits and pieces – the colours are very similar and both ranges will work well together, so the next few baby cards will be a mixture. I am ready for kaisercraft to bring out a new baby range! For these two cards shown I have just added buttons and a small ribbon bow for texture. Still raining here but not complaining! good crafting weather. Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Pitter Patter number 2

I used the 12 x 12 papers for this one, along with some of the matching collectables. I fussy cut the patchwork squares and tucked them behind the checked strip, inking all my edges with Stampin up pool party ink pad. Some more collectables to spell out Baby boy, and a bow over the rattle to finish.Today I saw the new spellbinder dies, and bought a few so hopefully this weekend my new trestle table is positioned in my new extension to my craft space, and I can put all my big tools ( sewing machine, big shot, cricut machine etc ) on it close to hand and ready to use at a moments notice! Can’t wait! zoo babies welcome baby cards

IMG_5866 (Medium)IMG_5867 (Medium)To finish off this series I have done a few welcome baby cards. The stamp set is Stampin Up zoo Babies, and the ink, and cardstock are also from stampin up. The embossing folder on the boys cards is from stampin Up – hexagons, and I am not too sure of the girl card embossing folder, but possibly couture creations!.tomorrow we will start a new series, today I visited paper flourish and picked up two new kaisercraft collections – hello sunshine and telegraph road, but probably won’t get a chance to create with them this week,as I am a bit busy organising myself for my trip to Perth at the weekend. til tomorrow….

crate paper little boy blue 4,5,6,7, baby boy cards

Crate Paper little Boy Blue patterned paper makes excellent Baby Boy cards. Here are 4 I made with the 3 sheets of paper I purchased. I just added ribbon, bakers twine, buttons, and Dummies that I picked up from the local $2 shop. I used a scalloped edge punch, and thats it !No cardmaking today – it’s my birthday, and I’ve been out to lunch, and now waiting to see if anyone is organising tea! Til tomorrow….

Group of 5 baby boy cards

As I mentioned last night this is the last of Kaisercraft Lullaby 6″ pad that I will be showing. I have used 2 of these pads over the last few months and it is the best for baby cards! In this group I added a few bits and pieces die cut with my cuttlebug and a cuttlebug baby die, and some ribbon and buttons. I am now off to work on a class coming up with some new ideas for xmas . Baby cards

Today there are 2 cards, both made with Kaisercrafts Lullaby 6″ paper pad. These cards have been highly popular, I think so far I have made 18 cards from the one pad, and all of them have sold, so I have been back to the shop and bought another pad before they disappear! On these cards I also added some buttons, ribbon and dummies. Now that mothers day is past I have been able to get my cricut out for a play today, and have done some cutting, so tonight I will put a few cards together using the bits I have cut out. Til tomorrow…..
