A beach theme today with the wonderful papers from Kaisercraft – coastal escape. All the cards here are made with just a couple of the 12 x 12 sheets, and they were a lesson I taught a couple of months ago at paper Flourish. The trim is by Green tara, and the large happy birthday die is from kaisercraft, the smaller one is by spellbinders. The bottom card is a great sketch idea to use up those little strips we always have left over!My voice has come back, and I am starting to feel more like normal again, just a s well really, I need a ll my energy to chase after that puppy who has developed an obssession with my balls of wool. No amount of telling off will put her off, and yesterday she had unravelled 3 balls all through the house.I must invest in a zip up bag that she can’t get into! Til tomorrow…..

I made good use of the banners on the collectables pack by clustering them in the top left hand corner. Til tomorrow….

As the weather in some parts of Australia is so hot, I thought it only fitting to post some beach cards. Luckily for us here in Adelaide the weather hasn’t been quite so hot, today has been lovely, but all the same I do feel sorry for those suffering the heat. The paper collection featured for the next few days is a release from last month by kaisercraft called Paradiso, and the main images on the cards all came from one of the 12 x 12 sheets. Thrifty crafting at its best because I made 6 cards out of this sheet! All I added here were a couple of buttons and some twine and a few of the matching collectables. The cardstock is some retired stampin up cardstock. This weekend I am working on some baby cards to replenish my market boxes. Til tomorrow….

I stamped the crab seperately and fussy cut it out and layered it on top of a piece of hessian. i would like to take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas to you all, and I hope you have a lovely, safe festive season surrounded by your nearest and dearest, and maybe manage to squeeze a little relaxing crafting in there too! I will take a couple of days break from my blog, and I will see you all at the end of the week…Til then…
