Todays card is one I taught yesterday in my class at Paper Flourish. It is a very simple one that doesn’t require a lot of product. I used two different sized fish tail dies ( kaisercraft) to make the shirt, and ran the larger piece through a Couture Creations pinstripe embossing folder. The bow tie was made with a template, but I do have a Stampin up punch that would have done the trick and you can also get dies ( I saw a paper rose one) that would also work.I just had to add three pearls to finish this quick and easy design.Quick post today as I can smell my cake baking in the oven – might be time to take it out! til tomorrow….

An order with new dies!
Before we move on to a new series I thought I would post a card I made for an order this week because I made it using some new dies I picked up from Paper Flourish. The white leafy flourishes and pretty flowers are dies by Paper Roses, the white flower is a memory box die and the butterfly ( an older die of mine) is kaisercraft. The embossing folder I used on the background is also kaisercraft. Just some pearls and this was a great card for using up scraps of cardstock, and I love those flowers. I left them flat on this card but you could curl the petals too for a different look. I am off to the craft room now as I have a few more cards to do for orders. Til tomorrow….
Purple day today!
Recently I had an order for a purple birthday card, so I teamed it with black and gold , and got to work with the big shot and a variety of dies…kaisercraft layered flowers, magnolia flourish, and spellbinders for the sentiment and tags. The gold foiled doily was from a kaisercraft paper range, embossing folder was an older stampin up one, and the cardstock was also stampin up.I cheated and used gold letter stickers for the message.Til tomorrow….
Cuttlebug card with some stamping…
Todays card is a really good basic design that leaves lots of room for improvising. I have layered two shades of purple cardstock, embossing the layers with two different embossing folders and stamped flowers from stampin up fabulous florets stamp set onto more cardstock – no colouring. The leaves are stamped onto green cardstock ( they are stamped using stampin up secret garden stamp) and then all the stamping is fussy cut. if you don’t want to use stamps it would look just as effective with flowers fussy cut from patterned paper or shop bought flowers instead. I used a big green flat backed pearl in the middle of my flower. The butterfly is punched with a martha stewart punch. Til tomorrow…..
Cuttlebug Wedding card idea
This is a card very similar to one of the cards my ladies made in a class last month. All white cardstock, and a piece of white cardstock run through a hearts embossing folder. For the cake I cut 3 squares – 5cm,4cm,and 3 cms and rounded the top corners of each, then stuck them together along the top edges of the squares. Mount on the card front with foam pads, add ribbon and punched flowers, some kaisercraft pearls, your own sentiment and this is a simple wedding card done!Off to work I go… til tomrrow…..
More ideas with dies
The paper I used here is Tropical Punch by Kaisercraft, and the Die is also by kaisercraft. I die cut the feather and ran it through the cuttlebug swiss dots folder. I used the off cut from the feather die to sponge through to create the inked images on the patterned paper.( tea Dye distress ink).A flower, punched leaf, and bir ribbon bow and this one was complete!
