Today I have jumped back to a group of cards I made before Christmas, but haven’t had a chance to post yet. The paper collection is Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings ( A favourite of mine, and I will be making a few Mothers day cards with this one) ,the die used was nestabilities Picot Edge die, and the stamp was Stamp It circle for you, stamped in Choc chip ink. I added ribbon, kaisercraft pearls, and a bit of kindyglitz. Til tomorrow…..

Cuttlebug card no.6
A very early post today as I have a retirement village class tonight. I found some Basic Grey paper that I have had for a long time ( Basic grey Mellow) and thought it would make a great male card. I teamed it up with my sizzix rosettte die, and my new nestabilities nested lacey pennants. The cardstock I used was stampin Up early Espresso, and the ribbon and bakers twine are also from Stampin Up. The greetings stamps used were from stampin Up sets – birthday whimsy and riveting. Til tomorrow….
Sidewalk 5 and 6
Here we are for our second post today. This is the last in my October Afternoon sidewalk series, which I wanted to finish today as I am eager to move on to the next…. These two cards also used the button, twine and seam binding that came in the matching Miscellany pack, and I used a spellbinder labels 14 to stamp my Stampin Up Perfectly Penned greeting stamp on to in choc chip ink. There is a little lace peaking through the layers, and I punched a lacy edge with my Martha stewart punch. So Hot here in Adelaide today – 40C ( thats 104F for my overseas visitors) Very hard to craft in this heat – My quick dry glue was drying before I could get anything stuck to it, my double sided tape went quite tacky, and parts of my body were uncomfortably stuck to my seat! It looks as though it is cooling down now, although that could be wishful thinking! Welcome to my new subscribers,I hope you all enjoy my card making journey as much as I do…. Til tomorrow….
Sweet nothings 4…
My blog address is still playing up, but some of you are finding me so we will carry on as normal. Now, in all honesty I have lost track of what number we are up to in my Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings collection series so I have randomly picked 4 as a good number for this card! All I have added to this piece of patterned paper is a collectable from the same collection, and a ribbon and bling. I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas, and have found a little time for some serious card making…. Til tomorrow….
Sweet Nothings 3…
Here we are with number 3 in my kaisercraft Sweet Nothings series. I have used the 6″ pad, and the blue bird is a rub on from the same collection. In the centre is a Prima clear gem which has been in the bottom drawer for quite a few months, and I die cut the circles with my new Spellbinder Picot edge circles die.The really good thing bout this paper is all the cards look so different and look Kay – not a bit of ribbon, lace or bling to be found on this one! I am looking forward to spending an hour in the craft room tonight after tea…. Til tomorrow…..
Sweet Nothings 2
A post on the run tonight as it’s shopping night.. This is my second card using Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings 6″ paper pad. The flowers and leaves are Prima, and I used a Martha Stewart punch for the fern leaves. The greeting is a Stampin Up stamp.I of course also added a little ribbon! Til tomorrow…..
Timeless Vintage
This paper is from a 6″ pad called Vintage Timeless that kaisercraft released a couple of months a go, but due to the ammount of xmas cards I have made I really haven’t had time to create with it yet, but I have a couple of cards to show over the next couple of days. there are all sorts of images in this pad, including a couple of pages of butterflies, which I very quickly fussy cut – my favourite thing! All I added was a bit of maroon lace – after all what is vintage without the lace? A long hard day at work today, so I don’t think I will be visiting the craft room, but at least I have 2 days off now and will be continuing on in my bid to clear some space in my paper drawers.. Til tomorrow….
Garden gala
Todays card was made using Websters pages Garden gala paper, with the addition of some flowers,a leaf , bling flourish and a bit of lace. I added some layering, and there you are, a card with a bit of a vintage feel! Very busy at work with 6 am starts, so a bit tired in the evenings, and not much crafting happening through the week. Bit sad…. til tomorrow….
Mariannes Birthday card
This is my Boss Mariannes Birthday card. I have used Stampin Up Early espresso cardstock, and Die cut an oval on the front panel. then backed both front and back with papers from My Minds Eye Lost and Found Blush 6″ paper pad. Lots of ribbon, lace trim, hat pin, flowers and bling! The bird and birdcage were die cut with a Tim Holtz die, and I coloured them with some glossy accents which was coloured with a drop of ink. ( a great technique, thank you Kay).I had some trouble – the card really didn’t stand very well, so I made it a little stand at the back after we took this shot.Marianne loved it, but wonders at the patience required to make these creations ( maybe I’m not that patient at work!) I’ve never thought about it – I didn’t think patience came into it – what do you all think? Til tomorrow….
Corsetry and lace
After weeks of sickness, I can finally say I am feeling back to my old self! So I will be found in the craft room if anyone needs me! Todays card uses a bit of product, including – Elements collection chipboard, Authentique ‘Uncommon’ patterned paper and elements sheet, sizzix die, Stampin up vintage brad, Flamingo perfect pearls and ribbon and lace. Phew that was a list….Oh the cardstock is stampin up cameo coral (Retired – a shame) and sahara sand.Til tomorrow….
