A gatefold design today made with graphic 45 Le Amour and just a bit of ribbon for embellishment.Tomorrow will be the last design using this paper for now, today I spent some time going through my boxes, in preparation for the craft fair in June, sorting out cards I am short of, and it appears from now until then I will be making a lot of mens cards! What a surprise! Not much mens papers around just now so I will have to rely on older paper in my craft room and stamp sets.I also spent a little while finishing off some baby boy cards I have been working on, and looking for my pink buttons! They have not been found, and nor has my stash of baby papers, I think the pink buttons must be with the baby papers, so find one and I hopefully will find both, but it beats me at the moment where they have got to. A bigger search will have to happen tomorrow!Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Le Amour number 9
Todays card with graphic 45 Le Amour is so simple..just a piece of patterned paper a little smaller than my card base, with some lace and ribbon wrapped around it,a ribbon bow and an image cut from one of the other papers in the collection.I think this one would make a good mothers day card!.It has been a lovely weekend here in Adelaide, the weather is mild with just the right amount of sun and the nights have been cool enough to dig out the quilt so good for sleeping! Just what I like! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Le Amour 7 and 8

Two more cards made with graphic 45 Le Amour papers, from the range of 12 x 12 papers. the top card is highlighted with 2 die cut feathers – the left one is a kaisercraft die, while the one on the right is a freebie from a card making magazine. Some sequins, ribbon bow and silver thread to finish. For the bottom card I only covered 1/2 the card with paper, and left some just the bare cardstock ( something I rarely do), and used a martha stewart edge punch in black cardstock and a piece of pink ribbon to separate the two parts. I layered the rose image a few times, and added a bow to complete this one.I had a pleasant start to my week off by going to the pictures with Mum.I had a couple of free tickets, and we saw Lady in a Van. A nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon!Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Le amour 5 and 6

Some cards over the next couple of days from a range from Graphic 45 , Le Amour. The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and just a ribbon bow, whereas the bottom card has a bit more work – I die cut a dress form with a kaisercraft die, and a small doily ( also kaisercraft) and added a ribbon, gold thread and a stampin up cream ribbon rose for some added texture. Today while shopping a had a look at some greeting cards, just out of curiosity – I haven’t bought a card for years, and I couldn’t believe the prices!! $10 for a card! Wow! I will stick to making mine – I save money and relax at the same time – it’s win win! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft sail away 16..the last…
This is the last Kaisercraft sail away ( for a while at least) and I made a gate fold card. The paper inside is from the 6″ pad,and I stamped a sentiment inside, used kaisercraft numbers dies for the age on the front, and a tag from the paper pad, button and bakers twine to decorate.I must make more of the gatefold cards, they are very easy to do, and you don’t have to worry about insert and verses etc, if you have nice paper thats enough!Quick post today, it was back to work, and I must now get the household organised. Kaisercraft sail Away 14 and 15

Another couple of cards made with kaisercraft sail away – can you tell I really liked this collection? I kept coming up with ideas for it and I love the clear colours. The top card is made using the 6″ pad, and a bit of stampin up bakers twine, and the bottom card has some 12 x 12 paper on the background, with a die cut scalloped circle, and an image from the 6″ pad as the focal point. The braid running down the cards is from stampin up and I have had it for years – there’s a hint – always keep everything, one day it will come in handy!! Public holiday today, the weather is not so humid, all my housework is done, so I am off to the craft room! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft sail away 12 and 13

Some cards for males now, using Kaisercraft sail away. I have already made quite a few cards with this collection and I have a few more to show you all.The top card is made using a corner of one of the 12 x 12 papers, and adding a greeting from the back of the matching 6″ pad, and adding a charm . The bottom card has a piece of the 12 x 12 paper as the background, and a collectable from the collection as the focal point of the card. There is a strip of patterned paper across the bottom, and the chain above it is die cut using a kaisercraft die.I have cleared all my outstanding work ( finally) in the craft room and I will finally get some time to play with the new papers i have been collecting ! Great fun ahead! til tomorrow….
Echo Park Little man 5 and 6…
Here are my last two creations with Eco Park Little man papers. I only bought a few sheets of this range, but made a nice amount of cards from it, only using the papers and some googly eyes for embellishment. All the cardstock matting is stampin up card, and the stamp set used here for the sentiment is stampin up itty bitty banners.i love papers like this where you can make a whole card for minimum use of products! We have a long weekend here this weekend, with a public holiday on monday,so I am sure I will fit in some time in the craft room, the weather although still humid is cooler too, so all is looking up!Ti tomorrow….

Echo park Little man

Every now and again I buy just a couple of sheets of paper from a range, and this one from Echo Park called little man was one of those times. I love doing cards like this because they are quick, easy, and need no other embellishment other than the paper. I used cardstock from Stampin Up, added googly eyes, and just did some layering. Stopped by paper flourish on my way home from work, and picked up the new graphic 45 papers, so looking forward to sitting down tonight and having a good look at them! til tomorrow…..
