Quite a late post tonight as it has been a very hot day today, and is only now starting to cool down just a little. The papers I used for this one are Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses , and I used a piece of stampin up cardstock for the base ( bermuda bay )the butterflies were fussy cut from a 12 x 12 sheet – and I am sure those of you who have done my classes will remember the day we used this sheet on our cards – my name was was mud that day with all the fussy cutting we did!I used Kaisercraft rhinestone strips on the butterflies, and a chipboard piece down in the corner. Til tomorrow….
Today we leave behind the stamping, but stick with the bold andd bright colours! The scrap of paper I used for the flower stem is from Stampin Up Madison Avenue, and I used stampin up cardstock and matching ribbon – Tangerine tango and island indigo. The die used is sizzix tim holtz rosette, and the embossing folder is stampin up chevron folder.I stamped my greeting with a stamp from the itty bitty banner set from stampin up in tangerine tango ink. This afternoon I have been busy making a new home card for an order, and I have some things laid out on the craft table ready to go for an ideas I have, but this weekend has to be about Fathers day cards ( just a few more to do) and xmas cards. Til tomorrow….
This is a nice bright card for a change! All supplies are from Stampin Up – the stamp set is Madison Avenue, and the butterflies were stamped with a stamp from Clearly for you stamp set. The cardstock is Summer Starfruit and whisper white, and the stamp pads I used were gumball green, tangerine tango and summer starfruit. I added a little bling and some tangerine tango ribbon to finish.I stamped the flower heads separately and fussy cut them so that I could mount them with foam pads for a bit of dimension.I have a baby card to make for an order tonight, then feet up in front of the tv! Til tomorrow….
Only a couple more in this series – Bo Bunny Surprise so we will stick with them – still using the original 5 sheets of paper that I purchased, we are up to card numbers 11 and 12! I used a punch for the stars on the card on the left, and fussy cut the the stars on the right out of the paper. The cardstock used for the card bases and the mats is from Stampin Up. Til tomorrow…..
Here are 5 and 6 in my Bo Bunny Surprise series. Still with the same original 5 12 x 12 sheets of paper, but used spellbinders pennant dies to make the bunting for the card on the left. I used Stampin Up cardstock for the card bases and various mats. Busy day today, pulling out my market boxes to see what cards I still need to make for my craft fair stall in two weeks time – have a list so will be very busy in the craft room . Lucky my holidays start at the end of this week! Til tomorrow…
Bo Bunny Surprise papers – the 12 x 12 variety, and still making good use of the cut outs sheet.I just teamed the papers with some colour matched cardstock for some matting, and a legth of green ribbon on the red card to break up the colour. A day of crafting procrastination today – lots to do in the craft room but not much motivation so a trip to my local craft shop ( Paper Flourish ,where I also teach) was on the cards. A good browse around the aisles, a shopping basket of goodies, and home full of enthusiasm! Now cook some dinner and back into the craft room to plan out those lessons! Til tomorrow….
Today in my bold and bright series we get 3 for the price of one! The paper is American crafts Amy Tangerine Sketchbook, and the technique today is fussy cutting. I used 12 x 12 papers and cut the flower images out to make these bright cards. the only other embellishments needed here were buttons, bling, ribbon and kindyglitz. the cardstock and sentiment stamp were from Stampin Up.I spent all of today doing a stocktake of my cards and tidying up my craft room. It’s all organised now so hopefully I can find a little time to get in there and do some creating! Til tomorrow…
Firstly tonight I want to say thank you for the lovely comments from 2 of my followers -Margaret and Shirley. I always love to read your comments, and to know that someone is reading my ramblings! A very easy card tonight – this one made itself. I loved the image in the corner in one of the 12 x 12 sheets so cut it out and built the card around it. I just added ribbon and a bit of bling. the cardstock was from stampin Up as was the sentiment. Well my foray into the craftf market is over for now – I had a lovely 3 days meeting lots of interesting people, but now is the clean up – my craft room is a disaster are so tomorrow will be spent trying to restore order to it! Til tomorrow….
Here is a bright card to brighten up our dull, cold adelaide weather! The patterned paper is American Crafts amy tangerine Sketchbook, and the cardstock is stampin Up crumbcake. The banner across the top is die cut with spellbinders lacey pennant die, and I also used Stampin Up Blossom Party die for the flowers. The sentiment is stamped with stampin Up perfectly penned stamp. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day at the craft fair today, took my Mum with me to help out, and I had to stop her from spending all the profits at the other stalls – I hardly saw her all day!Tomorrow Kay ( my sister) is coming to give me a hand- I just hope I see more of her than I did of Mum! Til tomorrow….
