Todays card is in a similar simple style to yesterdays card, With an embossed layer ( kaisercraft Frame embossing folder) and a fussy cut flower arrangement from a piece of Kaisercraft Golden Grove 12 x 12 sheet. The Thinking of You sentiment is from the 6″ pad of the same collection. Only a coupleĀ more card to go in this collection before we move on to something new… Today I am off to the retirement village to catch up with my ladies and show them a card or two. Kaisercraft golden Grove 4 and 5
Two cards today because I have been missing for a few days, very busy at work putting out lots of new stock, and buying quite a bit of it! We are back to Kaisercraft golden Grove which was one of the ranges they released last month, and is full of lovely rich autumn colours. IThe top card is a card I made for my uncles Birthday, he is a gardener and I thought he would enjoy the imagery and colours reflected in his garden. It’s all 12 x 12 sheets from the range as well as the matching collectables. The lower card also uses pieces fromĀ a 12 x 12 sheet, with a flower and butterflies fussy cut from one of the sheets as well. If you look closely you can see some little rain drops ( or dew drops) which I made using some clear Nuvo. I have been experimenting with Nuvo, it comes in a huge range of colours and is very much like Liquid pearls, but better value, larger colour range and holds the perfect dome shape better…can you tell I am a fan? It comes in metallic ,glitter ( much better than stickles), pearl and clear . I have also been trying to clean up the craft room, but that is not going so well, too many distractions! Til tomorrow….
kaisercraft Golden Grove
Here is the third card made witrh Kaisercraft Golden Grove, and for this one I used a piece from the card fronts 12 x 12 sheet as well as a grouping of the collectables. I added a string of gold beading, and traced around the Hello with Wink of Stella in clear to add a little sheen. the rest was all down to matting! The weather has fined up today, and I think I am going to spend some time this afternoon in the garden, sitting in the sunshine with my book, just to blow some of the winter cobwebs away.. I hope you all have a lovely weekend, til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Golden Grove..
Continuing on with the Autumn themed challenge, this months kaisercraft release fitted in perfectly, and here are 2 cards I made with that range. I embossed a piece of cardstock with a stampin up embossing folder for the top card, and added a few of the collectables from the range, and sprinkled sequins. For the lower card I fussy cut lots of pears ( my husband loves pears and this will be his birthday card) did some paper layering and again sprinkled a few sequins. I am on track with all the lessons I need to come up with, just have a couple more to do for the cruise, and one to thinbk about for the village ladies, so I might have a break today from the craft room, and catch up on some reading this afternoon..it’s been a lovely morning while I was working but it has become overcast now and think some rain is on it’s way..all good for the garden…til tomorrow…
