The top card is the last Card I made ( for now) using Kaisercraft basecoat christmas, and the bottom three are made using last years kaisercraft collection called Holly bright.Top card is straight forward with some layering of matching collectables and the addition of a ribbon bow,. The bottom three were made with bits and pieces I had left over, so I added some die cuts and punched borders to stretch the collection a little bit further. This weekend my crafting time has been spent making my personal Christmas cards. I have been using graphic 45 Twas the night before Christmas, and also The twelve days of christmas, which is a previous years collection and I am trying to use it all up. Next weekend I will get nathan to photo them before I write them out and send them off! Til tomorrow…..

Definitely the last of Holly Bright
This is the last of my holly Bright paper collection. I have made an amazing amount of cards with this paper, but it’s time to move on! I used the 6″ pad for these two cards, and some Kraft and stampin up cardstock. I also used some of the collectables, and the greetings were from a 12 x 12 sheet.Ribbon and bling added the finishing touches.today has been all about housework, but i am about to head into the craft room to do some creating! til tomorrow….
kaisercraft holly bright number 11
Number 11 in my Kaisercraft Holly bright paper series, and here I have used the 12 x 12 papers. the bird is from the collectables, and I just added a little ribbon bow and some kindyglitz to finish. So glad the working week is over for me – I have struggled this week with this coughy coldy thing, and hopefully a couple of days at home will knock it on the head once and for all! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Holly Bright 9 and 10
Todays cards were made with Kaisercraft Holly Bright papers. I made these ones with the idea that you could enclose a gift voucher in them, so the front layer is peeled back and I used my Memory Keepers envelope maker to make a small envelope – I used the smallest size on the board for this.the greetings were cut out from a sheet of matching paper – this sheet is brilliant – it has 36 greeting on it so great value. The cards didn’t need any more in the way of decoration so I just added a little bling.
kaisercraft holly bright number 6
For the third weekend in a row we have no net service, and it’s only through the wizardry of nathan that I am here today – really starting to lose patience now!! Anyway enough grumbling. Todays card is very similar to one that we did in my class yesterday, square base which is a little different for me, but I am getting used to working on a bigger surface now. The paper is Kaisercraft Holly Bright – we only have a couple more cards left in this group before we move on to something else – and for this card I used the 12 x 12 sheets, and did a little fussy cutting. I have spent the day in the craft room preparing all my september classes. After tea I will pop back in there and make a few cards for my market boxes, which have been sadly neglected of late.Til tomorrow….
Holly Bright number 5
A square card today, and I covered the base with a dark beige piece of kaisercard – I can’t remember the name of the colour , but it works well with this range of kaisercraft Holly Bright paper. I used a push out and a piecs of patterned paper from the 6″ pad, popped a mistletoe collectable behind, and cut a greeting from the 12 x 12 paper that has 36 different greetings on it( Great value). Some ribbon across the join, and a bow and we are done. Terrific class today, creating with this range of paper, and now I am off to the craft room to sit down and see what happens! Til tomorrow….
Holly Bright number 2
Here is number 2, made with kaisercraft Holly Bright – 6″paper pad, and the 12 x 12 sheet in the same collection that has all the greetings on it. I did a little bit of matting, and added a cream ribbon for this simple card. Another cold night here, so once again it’s just a night in front of the heater and TV! Til tomorrow…..
Holly Bright – christmas 2013
Well, we have the net back – lets hope it’s for more than a couple of days this time! This month Kaisercraft released the first of their christmas papers for this year, and my classes this month have been using this collection. I made a few different ones at home, so I thought I would post a few of them over the next few days.the collection is called Holly Bright, and it’s a very homespun feel of design, with a lovely jewel green colour and a beige that would go well with kraft cardstock. Here i have used papers from the 6″ pad for the background and the scallop edging, and fussy cut some of the flowers from a 12 x 12 piece of paper. There is a whole sheet full of greetings which I have used here, and I also used a tag from the collectables pack. For now I am off to clear my in box which may be full to bursting after so many days! Til tomorrow….
