I should add for now, because I will revisit this paper collection! Both cards are made with the 6″ pad papers, and the fronts decorated with some of the collecables of the same range. I printed up a special insert for the bottom card that says “wishing you a FANtastic day”…I couldn’t resist the play on words…Very busy at work this week, and I haven’t spent any time in the craft room, but we have a long weekend off for Easter this weekend so I will spend some time in there then! Kaisercraft Hanami garden
And now for something completely different!I love the rich colours of this paper collection, and it is completely different from what i usually work with. I started off simple with this card, I made a paper fan – something I wanted to do as soon as I saw the paper, and as luck would have it , on my desk was a red tassel, something my sister had given me attached to a present! The rest of the card was just paper and sentiment from the 6 ” pad, and a flower collectable. I used Black cardstock for the base card.It’s cooking and cleaning afternoon here so i had best get on! Cherry Tree lane 14..
Very quick post today as I am off to work shortly. This is the third lesson card that I did with Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane 12 x 12 papers.One piece as a backgound,one of the “card fronts” from another 12 x 12 piece, a bit of fussy cutting, ribbon, lace and a flower.Til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny Petal lane 1 and 2..
Sorry I have been missing for a few days, I have been settling into my new job and setting up a new routine,but I have a day off today so thought i would catch up on some crafting! We start a new group of cards today, made with Bo Bunny 12 x 12 papers and their matching collectables ( which I think Bo Bunny call Notables …should have paid attention to that!) The top card makes good use of the flag shaped ones, I layered them, added some black bling and stamped a vertical sentiment ( one of my new stampin up stamps). The bottom card focuses more on the background paper with a gorgeous flower collectable, some black sequins,bling,ribbon bow and a sentiment cut from one of the 12 x 12 papers.I will be back tomorrow with some more from this lovely collection, meantime I am off to the craft room! til tomorrow….
simple male card idea
Todays card is one I taught yesterday in my class at Paper Flourish.It is a very simple one that doesn’t require a lot of product. I used two different sized fish tail dies ( kaisercraft) to make the shirt, and ran the larger piece through a Couture Creations pinstripe embossing folder.The bow tie was made with a template, but I do have a Stampin up punch that would have done the trick and you can also get dies ( I saw a paper rose one) that would also work.I just had to add three pearls to finish this quick and easy design.Quick post today as I can smell my cake baking in the oven – might be time to take it out! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane number 4..
The fourth card in my Cherry Tree lane series . Still working with the blue tones , this one has a collectable, and a piece from the pull apart sheet ( A little image in the left hand corner ) and a layering piece from the 6″ pad. The cardstock is from Stampin Up, and I used some very dainty lace, ribbon and a few pearls.Another lovely cool day here, and after our roast lunch am packing all the cruise crafty stuff to make sure my suitcase is big enough! til tomorrow….

This is the last of my Boxed cards. I made the flower spray, added some black accents to tie in with the sentiment which is a collectable from the PS I love you collection from Kaisercraft.Again this is a card that could be used for wedding,engagement,valentines or anniversary. This weekend has been very busy, with very little time in the craft room, but i will be in there this afternoon as I have a class to set up, I am trying to get ahead with them as the cruise is only 2 and 1/2 weeks away and I won’t be crafting then ( teaching, but no crafting!)til tomorrow….
Floral sprays and a box..
Another example of my handmade floral spray used on a card.The papers are Kaisercraft PS I love you,and the die is paper rose Ornate circle . I used a collectable doily ( from the paper collection) under the circle. This card could be used for wedding, engagement or anniversary..or even Valentines day!Quick post today as it’s awfully hot sitting here at the computer, I am going to find a nice spot under an airconditioning vent to sit and read a good book! til tomorrow….
Card and matching box..
While my shoulder was not good ( great day today as my Doctor has cleared me and I am back to normal!)to pass the time I made some flower bunches, and used them on cards only to realise after that they wouldn’t fit into envelopes so I made matching boxes for them.This one has a lovely wide piece of lace on it, the background paper is from kaisercraft PS I love you,and the die is Paper Roses Ornate circle. Just a quick one today, til tomorrow….
Valentines day card
The collectables pack from the Prima Rossibelle collection had some wonderful bits and pieces in it, and the silver plaque and tag were the base for this card. The flowers were also Prima and I added some gold thread and a flat backed pearl. The papers were some random pieces that were in my stash and I used a bit of the silver textured one to die cut a heart. Today is a day off, so i have been busy in the kitchen experimenting with a chicken casserole – no recipe so hope it turns out alright – smells ok as its simmerimg, so hopefully I have succeeded! Now I am off to the craft room to make a start on 6 orders, and looking forward to relaxing! til tomorrow…
