Spellbinders nested tea cups number 3

IMG_3650 (Medium)Here is the third village card, made using the spellbinders nested dies. I can’t take credit for this particular design – I saw something very similar in a magazine, which actually prompted me to buy these dies! The tea cups are turned upside down and used as flowers, and a Cheery Lyn tropical flourish acts as our flower stem. I just added a few butterflies punched with a Martha Stewart punch, and a greeting and window punch for the greeting ( both from stampin Up) . The cardstock is stampin Up Tangerine Tango.I have some projects on the go in my craft room, but once again the hot weather is holding me back! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 A place in time number 7

IMG_7237 (Medium)Here is the last card I made with my 2 sheets of Graphic 45 A place in time March cut outs. tomorrow we will move on to some cards with a tropical beach theme, in keeping with the very hot weather we are experiencing here1. Here I used stampin Up garden green cardstock, some lovely purple bazil, a cheery lyn tropical flourish die and a few flowers. the image was actually two, which I folded in half, lined up the bracket shape and stuck them together. Thats all for today, I am teaching a lesson tonight so must go and get organised. Til tomorrow…

Prima Zephyr number 5

Todays card uses Prima Zephyr patterned paper and matching flowers, Leaves and Journalling notes. The Butterfly is actually 2 memory box dies – Kaliadascope and moonlight. There is a Cheery Lyn tropical flourish tucked in the back, and i added some ribbon, and lots of bling! The colours in this paper range are beautiful and rich, and a nice change from pink for Female style cards!I had a lovely day at paper flourish today, teaching my Mature ladies – lots of giggles which is always fun, but it’s back to work tomorrow, so an early night for me tonight… Til tomorrow…

Something completely different….

Every now and again an idea is too big for a card, and so it was with this one, so i moved it onto canvas.I painted the canvas with acrylic paint, added some stamping in black stazon, and then started decorating! The flourish is a cheery lyn die – tropical flourish, bird and cage is sizzix tim holt caged bird, and the flowers up the top are die cut with sizzix stampin up Blossom party die, and down the bottom stamped using stampin up vintage vogue stamps and then fussy cut and assembled.I attached a small canvas onto the bigger canvas, and the bling at the bottom of the cage is Magnolia chandelier garland. The small ammount of paper I used is Prima Meadow lark.I am still amongst xmas cards, but see light at the end of the tunnel, and hope tomorrow to move on! Til tomorrow….
