Prima Sweet Peppermint 5 and 6..
We continue on with my series of cards made with Prima Sweet peppermint, and I enjoyed the chance to rummage around in my lace stash to make these ones! The gold tape I used is by kaisercraft, and I distressed edges and inked with Tea dye distress ink. My wonderful mum and sister did a lot of die cutting for me yesterday so that I could fulfill an order, so I have been enjoying the craft room today, in the peace and quiet as everyone else is off doing their own thing! Kaisercraft Silent night, side steppers
The other Kaisercraft Christmas collection I purchased was this one – Silent Night. It is the traditional colours of red and Green, and some lovely vintage images. The first two cards I made are these two side stepper cards. I have done a youtube clip for the measurements of my side stepper cards, because I like them to fit into a C6 envelope. You can find the link to my youtube channel on the right hand side of my blog, or just search Helens Card designs in youtube to find it!The Christmas trees on the cards are from the collectables pack from the same range, but before I stuck them onto the card I traced around them onto scrap cardstock and cut them out to use as templates because I really like the size and shape of them So one of the green trees is a collectable and one is cut from patterned paper using my new template!Lace , ribbon and bling for the finishing touches.Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 1 and 2..
And so starts the Christmas card makes! I told myself this year would be all about using up previous years papers, and then Kaisercraft released Christmas Wishes! Needless to say I have bought the whole collection – 12 x 12 papers, 6″pad and packet of collectables..The top card is completely made with 12 x 12 papers and a pink bow ( don’t you love the colour of the background paper)and the second card is made up of Baubles fussy cut from the 12 x 12 paper and a greeting popped out from the paper pad. I used stampin up gold twine for the bauble string. This afternoon I am off to Paper flourish where I am going to pick up my crazy dogs stamps..and possibly one or two other things as well! til tomorrow….
