A short break from the kaisercraft silver bells paper, and today a couple of cards I made with Stampin Up designer paper Home for Christmas, and the stampin up woodland embossing folder. The top card is the simpler version, for the bottom card i stepped it up a little.wheres the paper you say? I cut these gorgeous little deers from the paper and created a little scene by adding some punched greenery and stamping and fussy cutting the little bird.To step it up a little on the bottom card I inked some of the raised embossing, and ripped up up some white cardstock which I stuck glitter toand then raised the pieces with some 3d foam pads on the lower portion of the card. I really enjoyed making these ones, my favourites by far this year! A lazy day today, prepared some lessons for november, and this afternoon I have been experimenting with my perfect pearls powder, adding some water to it and colouring ,it makes the most lovely shimmery paint and now I am off to put my finished painted pieces onto cards.Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft silver bells 7,8,and 9

3 cards today, all made with Kaisercraft Silver bells paper collection and matching collectables. I put these ones up altogether in this post as the are all following a similar design using the baubles from the collectables pack and the sheet of 12 x 12 paper ( which I fussy cut out). Silver ribbon and little bows for interest, and the greetings are from the papers. day off today and I am on my way to the dentist. Nothing major, just a little filling, but not fun all the same. Its a glorious day here in adelaide, much too nice to be stuck in the dental surgery! til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Silver bells 5 and 6

Kaisercraft Silver bells paper collection and matching collectables. The top card has a piece of 12 x 12 paper as the background, a collectable image and the greeting is from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper. a touch of ribbon and lace completes that one. the second card has a piece from the 6″paper pad for the background and the baubles are a mix of collectables and fusy cutting from a 12 x 12 paper.collectables for the greeting, and ribbon to finish.we will take a couple of days break from this series, so next time something different! we will return to these later in the week. Another lovely weekend gone by, and its a very early start for me tomorrow, so early to bed tonight, but might still mange another hour in the craft room! til tomorrow….
kaisercraft silver bells number 4
Kaisercraft Silver Bells paper collection and collectables. Again I have folded the front of my card base ( stampin Up cardstock) back on itself, and decorated with some of the paper from the 6″ pad. I edged all my paper with tea dye distress ink, and added a strip of lace and a ribbon bow to finish. a beautiful sunny day here in adelaide today, and Nathan has been outside picking bags and bags of lemons. We have enough lemon juice frozen to keep us in lemon cordial for a year, and have given many bags away.Thankfully we are nearly at the end of them now, and all the other fruit trees have lots of blossom so hoping for a bumper year this year! Kaisercraft Silver Bells number 3…
Kaisercraft Silver Bells once again, this time the pink tones of the paper. I used the papers from the 6″ pad for this one, and as for the previous card folded the front of the card back on itself.Inside I used an image from a 12 x 12 paper ( which had room on it for writing your greeting)and added lace and ribbon. I also edged all around all the papers with tea dye distress ink. it was good to catch up with all my ladies at a lesson today, and one day of work tomorrow then the weekend! Til tomorow….
Kaisercraft Silver bells 2..
I made a few cards with this paper (kaisercraft Silver Bells) where I folded the card front back on itself and decorated – just for something a bit different! The card front and inner back is decorated with a piece of the 6″pad and I used a collectable for the focal point. A piece of 12 x 12 paper is stuck inside the inner back so that you can write your greeting. I like this – no inserts to do! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft silver bells number 1.
Today we make a start on my Kaisercraft Silver Bells collection. I have made a lot with this collection, so we will probably divide the viewing into a few groups over the next few weeks so as not to bore you all to tears!I bought the 6″ pad, a sheet each of the 12 x 12 papers( one of them is a whole sheet of baubles which I fussy cut out) and a packet of the collectables. This particular card is stampin up cardstock,a layer of 12 x 12 paper, and a couple of the collectables. I inked all my edges with tea dye distress ink, and added a piece of ribbon and lace to the bottom. The sentiment is from a piece of the 12Â x 12 paper. Most of these cards will be kept for my personal use as I really love this paper! Til tomorrow…..
A wish for Peace stamp set
Every year one of the first Christmas cards I make is with this stamp set from Stampin Up called A wish for Peace. It’s quite a few years old, but I like the challenge of finding something new to do with it every year. This year I used Stampin up cardstock and embossed the top layer with a cuttlebug Christmas folder after die cutting a circle from the middle of it. I stamped the image on the base card, and added lots of glitter to it once the ink had dried. The holly was die cut with a sizzix die. This was a simple make and would work with lots of my Christmas stamps.A few christmas items trickling through now, and I have spent all weekend working with Kaisercraft silver bells paper collection – My favourite so far this year! til tomorrow….
simple Christmas card and a step up..

Here are a couple of Christmas cards, using the same dies, but the top card is the simple version and the lower card is a stepped up version. The two dies used are Kaisercraft dies ( love them – they cut so well) Poinsetta die and season greetings die.(the lower card uses the merry christmas die) I cut the poinsetta from pearlescent paper which gives it a lovely sheen. the lower card step up…a layered white piece of cardstock embossed with swiss dots folder,a run of cream/gold ribbon, and a kaisercraft sparklet in the centre of the poinsetta. the piece of music patterned paper is a kaisercraft piece from one of last years releases. This morning all the mundane jobs done, so a bite of lunch, then into the craft room for a nice relaxing afternoon. last 2 irresistably yours cards

These two cards were made with the same sheet of Stampin Up irresistably yours cardstock, but look so different. for the top card I sprayed the cardstock with dylusions sprays ( A tip – wait for one colour to dry before spraying the other colour – I learnt that one the hard way and ended up with a mud coloured mess!). then it was just a matter of some die cutting to finish. the bottom card is my first Christmas card for the year! I sponged this one with ink, and added a spellbinders die bauble and some sequins. I headed over to paper flourish today to get some papers for my next few classes, so will be busy this weekend coming up with some new cards and while I was there also managed to get the new range of graphic 45 gilded lily – it is gorgeous and I can’t wait to make some cards with it – classes first, then some palying. Thats my weekend sorted!Til tomorrow
