These two cards were so easy, the images were all there on the Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium papers, just a matter of some matting for interest, and ribbon for texture – done! Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Christmas emporium 1 and 2
We are back to some christmas cards, and i have used Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium paper collection, which is last years release, but I had a big pad tucked wasy which I didn’t use last year, and i was very excited to stumble upon it,as graphic 45 is one of my favourite paper companys! I made these two cards as 6×6 cards, I don’t often do that size, but the images are large and I didn’t want to cut into them. For the card on the left, I did a little layering, inking and distressing and added a tag with a stampin up vintage brad. For the card on the right I also layered, ( no distressing) ans added gold craftworks candi, and a stampin up midnight muse ribbon bow. Had agreat class today with my monday ladies, and also bought a few new male themed stamps to play with – one month soon the ladies are going to do male cards!Til tomorrow….

In a couple of days we will have a little break from christmas cards, but i wanted to post a few that I did over the weekend, using kaisercarft Turtle Dove 6″ pad and matching collectables. Tonight I am heading into the craft room to make some wedding anniversary cards – Mum was asking for some ideas, so I will sit down tonight and see what I come up with. Til tomorrow…
All is Bright 1 and 2
We are back to christmas cards, these ones are a little different – lets call them shabby chic with a contemporary twist! I used Spellbinders 2012 snowflake pendant dies on these cards too, just the right amount of modern design in these dies. Also used – lace, seam binding, a doily, and bakers twine.Thats it for today – til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Turtle Dove 3 and 4
Here are 2 really simple cards using Kaisercraft 6′ pad – Turtle Dove and the matching collectables. I added ribbon, perfect pearls and kindyglitz to complete .I have been working on some canvas art today, but have packed it away to make some male themed cards – I have been avoiding them for a while, but have got some ideas to try out so I will spend a little time today to get them down on paper ( or should I say cardstock!) Daydream Medallions – christmas card 2012
I took the idea from yesterdays card and stepped it up a bit on this one – still using the Daydream medallions stamp set I stamped a couple of medallions in shades of green, and fussy cut them out, layering the on top of each other, The image on the top of the stampin up craumbcake cardstock is from my stampin up Welcome christmas stamp set as is the greeting. Inks used were stampin up cherry cobbler, wild wasabi, certainly celery and crumbcake. The paper is Stampin up designer paper – Be of good cheer, and even the ribbon is stampin up!Not often I make a card that is all from one company!Til tomorrow….
Be Of good Cheer…
This is the second Christmas card I made using my Spellbinders Lacey Pennant dies. The designer paper is Stampin Up Be of Good Cheer, as is the cherry cobbler cardstock and bakers twine.I threaded the twine through the loops of the pennant, and will try this idea again when I find some glittery thin gold ribbon – I think that would look effective. I am working on some different projects this week, but pretty tired after work so not getting very far… Til tomorrow….
