We are deep into Christmas card making now and these are cards I made with my second Christmas paper purchase..Prima Christmas in the country. I just used the A4 pad, and did some fussy cutting. With the addition of a holly die, some Prima holly leaves, lace, metals and some matting these cards came together easily. I have moved away from papers now and have started doing some die cutting and embossing to make full use of all my Christmas dies – those ones will be up after next week when we finish with the Prima! Til next time….

Five more Christmas cards made with Stamperia Pink Christmas. I have done a couple more with this paper collection, and still have papers to do more, but we will move on next week with something a little different! In the meantime these ones speak for themselves… except for a little lace and flowers on a couple of them it is all just the paper. Great value collection!Yesterday I had a lovely day meeting up with a gathering of fellow crafters. We had a great time and lots of projects and ideas were shared.I can’t wait til we meet up again next month! Til next time ….
More Stamperia Pink Christmas…
Stamperia Pink Christmas continued today and this paper lends itself to as much or as little bits and pieces that you want to use. The top card is a gatefold design, so the inside has a bit of decoration as well. I have die cut some circles a little bigger than the paper images for matting . The third card has no extra bits, just the gorgeous paper and on the others I have used all sorts of bits and pieces that were hanging around on my craft table! This week has been wet and windy here so lots of time spent at the craft table..I have taken out all my christmas papers from years gone by and I am determined this year to use some of that instead of all new papers! We will see how that goes…. til next time…

Stampin Up Santa’s Workshop..
Here are the first Christmas cards for this year! I have used a Stampin Up designer paper collection from last year called Santa’s Workshop, I love it because of the fussy cutting potential. I haven’t bought too much Christmas collections yet this year – I am determined to use up the papers I have ( I think I say that every year!), but I have been working with Prima Christmas in the Country and some gorgeous vintage Stamperia papers this week. The top card has a die cut glittery Christmas tree, and the top and lower card have a layer of embossed white cardstock but other than that its all paper and cardstock.- no ribbon , lace or bling to be seen! Til next time….
Last three lemoncraft Yuletide today..
Today we say farewell to my Lemoncraft Paper makes, and these three are made in the same way as the cards on the previous post. I have used a lot of the molds that I made on these cards, and I painted them with prima alchemy paints. I have been busy finishing off my January classes, and they are done now so I have a little window of time to do some ” me ” crafting, and I am thinking wedding cards,I have some new stamps and dies to try out although you know these plans could go out the window when I actually sit down to craft! Til tomorrow….
Lemoncraft yuletide continued…
Sorry I have been missing , but we had a computer hiccup here this week, and thank goodness it is fixed now with no loss of files! Today we are continuing on with Lemoncraft yuletide collection, which is perfect for vintage style cards.I did a bit of layering with bits of offcuts on these two, and added a ribbon to the left and a ribbon and a flourish that I made with a silicone mold and gap filler (!) and painted with prima alchemy paint.meanwhile i have finished my January lessons and have a couple of new stamp sets on my desk to play with. I have to make two male birthday cards and one of the stamp sets is perfect for both boys so that will be first on the agenda! Til tomorrow…..
More Vintage Lemoncraft Yuletide..
It is still Lemoncraft yuletide designer paper collection on my blog today, lots of matting, and using little leftover scraps as banners, a bit of fussy cutting and not too much more embellishing required, just bits of gold thread, and ribbon. The bottom card had a doily and a foiled chipboard pinecone as well. Everything is inked with tea Dye distress ink. Today is my craft and chat group so I am off to get some projects sorted although more chat than craft takes place! Til tomorrow….
Lemoncraft Yuletide paper collection..
Today we are embracing vintage with this collection from Lemoncraft called Yuletide. I have added a few interesting bits and pieces to these cards – The top card has a flourish i made with a mold and some painters caulk, and then painted with prima Alchemy paints,. I also foiled a small chipboard piece, and added some gold thread and a pearl and all my edges were inked with Tea dye distress ink. The bottom card has more of the molds I made and painted gold, a ribbon and a bit of a die cut I had lying on my desk! I have just finished working a very long two weeks with just a couple of days off, so not much time for crafting as I have been catching up on housework today, but things should get back to normal now..and it’s time for me to be thinking of my January lessons – wow the new year already! til tomorrow….
Stampin Up Santas Workshop..
Here are some more fun Christmas cards I have made with Stampin Up Santas workshop collection. I have added the bare minimum of embellishing to this group of cards, the papers are already embossed and / or glittered, and I have just fussy cut extra layers for some 3 D effects. I have finished my Christmas makes for this year,( but have so many more to show you ) and normally at this stage I pack up all the Christmas for next year, but this paper is staying out and I will continue to make cards with it throughout the year, it is so much fun to work with! Til tomorrow……
