Step it up!

img_3506-mediumimg_3505-mediumWe are back to Kaisercraft Christmas wishes paper collection, and I did something a little different here. The top card is quite simple, with just a little layering ( the gold doily is fussy cut from one of the papers), while on the bottom card I have used exactly the same papers and images but stepped it up a little by adding a little more layering and a lot more trim ( all the trims used here are from Stampin Up)Still working the night shift, and life here is all topsy turvy! One more night to go and then thankfully back to normal! Til tomorrow….

More Happy Reindeers..

img_9364-mediumDon’t these reindeers make you smile?I used an embossing folder for the background ( stampin Up) and ripped up white cardstock  to make the foreground. I added aline of glue across the top of each layer and stuck on loose glitter.Fussy cut reindeers from stampin up home for christmas designer paper, and added die cut leaves and sentiment with  kaisercraft dies. A sprinkle of red kaisercraft rhinestones and these which were a joy to make were done! Til tomorrow….

Home for Christmas

img_9362-mediumimg_9363-mediumStampin Up Home for Christmas designer papers, and cardstock. These ones are very simple with just a little layering and fussy cutting from the papers. The sentiment on the top card is by Kaisercraft and the bottom sentiment is a new stampin up stamp.Very quick and easy! til tomorrow….

The cutest Reindeer

img_9360-mediumWe are still with Stampin Up designer papers from last year ( home for Christmas). One sheet was covered with the cutest reindeers, and I spent a couple of pleasant evenings cutting them all out!  I cut the paper and cardstock into banners, wrapped some silver twine around the top, and stuck it all onto a card made from stampin up cardstock. The sentiment is stamped with an older stampin up stamp set, with a couple of kaisercraft rhinestones added too! We have a long weekend here, and i have quite a few orders to make as well as some family birthdays to keep me busy as well…Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft St. Nicholas number 1- christmas 2013

IMG_3001 (Medium)This months release from kaisercraft includes this collection of papers – Sty. Nicholas. My favourite as it’s vintage themed. Here I have used the 6″ paper pad, and the frame is from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper. The image is from the matching collectables pack. I have been very  on and off with my christmas making this year – not too inspired by the christmas releases so far, but have just realised we are nearly into october and I need to make approximately 400 cards , with one order for 50 already, so over the next couple of weeks it’s all about christmas for me! Now to find that christmas spirit…. Til tomorrow….

Christmas 2012 phrase…

Last one for now, we will revisit christmas after a short break! Here I have again used Stampin Up be of Good Cheer designer paper – did I say how much I like the rich colours of this paper? and matched it with stampin Up Cherry Cobbler, very vanilla and Wild wasabi cardstock. I embellished with kindyglitz, ribbon, bakers twine and my Ek Success border punch – sorry can’t recall the name of that one -.The Noel was die cut with my cuttlebug using a Sizzix basic grey die called Phrases, Noel. A clutch of xmas cards….

Here is another group of christmas cards, this time using Kaisercraft december 25th 6″ pad and I believe a sheet or two of 12 x 12. Just added ribbon and kindyglitz. I had to go and check which kaisercraft range this was, and see that I have quite a bit left, and I’m quite tempted to make a few more, although I am sure I am done with xmas but I have been working on a simplified triple easel card which I think I have perfected and this paper would be perfect – maybe when Nathan gets his camera back I will turn it into a video clip to show it off! Til tomorrow…..

Deck the Halls 5

This is the fifth and final card in my Melissa Francis Deck the halls series. I just added ribbon, liquid pearls and a xmas charm. I hope you have enjoyed seeing this series as much as I enjoyed making them – beautiful paper to work with. Tomorrow we will have something completely different, and no xmas related at all! Til tomorrow….

Deck the Halls 4

This is number 4 in my Melissa Francis deck the halls series. Only one more to go after this one! I just added ribbon and lace. These cards just make themselves – Don’t you love it when you sit down with a paper collection, and before you know it you have made a dozen cards? It doesn’t happen often to me but when it does ( Like last night) it’s the greatest feeling! I will show last night efforts when Nathan has time to photograph my cards. His camera is still being fixed  so we have to rely on my little camera.Til tomorrow…..

Deck the halls 3

The third card in my Melissa Francis Deck the Halls series is this one – just the 6″ pad and the elements sheet and a bit of ribbon and lace! A welcome day off tomorrow, and an afternoon of creating I hope. Til tomorrow….
