Sympathy card ideas

IMG_5148 (Medium)What a mixed bag of cards I have posted the last week or so! Today it’s sympathy cards.I always keep sympathy cards very simple, and these are no exception. I have used white card bases, and stamped my image on white card as well, coloured with copic markers and stuck on the card, and used border stickers around the outline. The stamp set is one I have had for a few years from Stampin Up called Eastern Influences.Today i have finally started my christmas cards, eased in slowly with some simple ones using dies,. Tomorrow Nathan and I will have a photo session and I will be able to start posting my most recent makes. til tomorrow….

Golfing Tom.

IMG_5145 (Medium)A male card today, The stamp is called Golfing Tom and it is from C.C.Designs. I stamped onto copic blending card and coloured with my copic markers, then mounted on two shades of card from Stampin up. this one was a nice quick card, and the stamp is big enough to stamp onto patterned paper and fussy cut if you don’t want to colour..something I will try next time I have it out on the craft table! For now though, it’s off to work I go..til tomorrow…

Kaisercraft velvet crush,stamping and copics

IMG_0850 (Medium)IMG_0852 (Medium)I recently bought some copic colour markers and headed off to a beginners class to learn how to use them(!)and since then have been practising my colouring. Here are my first few attempts. The stamps are from my collection, the first is a magnolia stamp, and the last is a deep red stamp ( from a set of four…absolutely excellent stamp set) and I can’t remember the brand of the cupcake stamp.Anyway, I coloured, and then teamed the images with some bits and pieces I had left over from my Kaisercraft Velvet Crush collection and added assorted flowers and punched leaves to finish.Today I visited my hairdresser, who sells my cards in her salon, only to find she had sold every one of the wedding cards I had left with her. So tonight I will be in the craft room creating all things wedding…Til tomorrow…..
