Sidewalk 3 with Cuttlebug

We are still with my October afternoon Sidewalk patterned papers, but on this card I have used my Picot Edges circles spellbinders die with my cuttlebug as the focus of this card. The greeting is a stamp by Stamp It, and I have added a ribbon and bow. A martha Stewart punch was used also. This is a good sketch card which I will probably use again! Nathan is on holidays from his studies and has been “improving ” my blog by building something on the side over to the right…. he assures me when he is finished, which might take him a few days , that we will be able to click on whatever we looking for in the list there, and all the cards I have done under that particular category – be it certain papers, or technique, or design , will come up as a group! Sounds good…..Til tomorrow….

Baby card with cuttlebug

I have arrived home after a lovely few days on holidays down the coast of south australia, at a little fishing town called Robe. It is Lobster season so one night we had a lovely lobster meal, and I spent a lot of time walking the beach and relaxing…. lovely! Today’s card was made using my cuttlebug machine to make the embellishments. I used my swiss dots folder, a pram die ( brand unknown.. sorry) a cuttlebug Baby die , some Bazzil cardstock scraps ,gingham and plain blue ribbon, and buttons. the cardstock is Stampin Up Bashful Blue and Whisper white. It’s my Birthday today, so I am now going to see what surprise my family have planned for my dinner.. (if any!) til tomorrow…..

A forgotten card…

Going through my photo files, deciding what to put up today, I found this one, which wasn’t put up with the other cards made from Kaisercraft Miss Nellie papers. I don’t know why, I might have been distracted with Fathers day or something. Anyway, here it is, and I also used a sizzix flower die through my cuttlebug, sprayed it with a little water and shaped it, a kaisercraft sparklet, Martha Stewart butterfly punch and ribbon and lace.I’m not so well this weekend so haven’t done any crafting, and I’m getting itchy fingers, so I might try something tonight. Til tomorrow…..

Musical theme birthday

This is a good card for teenagers. The stamps are from the Live Loud collection by imaginisce, and I used my cuttlebug and music embossing folder with some coredinations cardstock for the background. I sanded the background after embossing. The card base is Stampin Up early espresso.I added a few brads for some more texture. I did make a couple of xmas cards last night but then got distracted with my new designer papers from stampin up, so will photo my efforts on the week end to show you! Til tomorrow…..

Embedded embossing with cuttlebug

Today I taught my class over at Paper Flourish, and it was all about embedded embossing, and this is one of the cards we created. The Heart is glued onto the card and then run through ths cuttlebug, which gives a great embedded effect. I used the devine swirls cuttlebug folder, and cuttlebug hearts die.I also used shiny silver cardstock, and a bit of white ribbon to hide the seam, and finish off the card. This afternoon I have been coming up with some ideas for my village lesson in a week or so, and must get back to it now, til tomorrow…..

Cuttlebug and Stampin Up

This card was made using a couple of stampin up sizzix dies – Leaves and Blossom Party. They work perfectly through my cuttlebug, and I’m really impressed with the result. A lot of my cards are going to feature this flower die. The cardstock I used was Certainly celery, pretty in pink and pink pirouette. The males in my house think its too pink, but I say you can never have too much pink! What do you all think?Another cold day here today, so nothing done outside, and lots of crafting inside! Til tomorrow…..

Latest cuttlebug card

I’ve had quite a few kids cards lately, so I thought I would break it up and post my latest cuttlebug card, as I know a lot of you visit to see what I have been up to with my trusty cuttlebug. Tonights card relies soley on my cuttlebug, I used white and silver cardstock, a butterfly die, and 2 embossing folders – Couture collections – pinstripe and drifting Endless. I just added a little matching ribbon to complete. I have a couple of days off now, so I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time in my craft room.Til tomorrow….

I made tonights cards because I really wanted to use this colour combination and try out a couple of new folders. The folders are by Couture creations and are great value for money, and they are bigger than your normal sized folder so the designs go right to the edge of your cards. The two I used here are drifting endless and pinstripe. I then fussy cut a couple of flowers from Pink Paislee – Butterfly garden and just added a little lace. A very quiet day at the market today, but I was pleased to see my regular customers! Til tomorrow…..

Here for you

This afternoon while checking my files I found this card which I haven’t posted yet, but actually did for a Village lesson a few months ago.I used Stampin Up cardstock ( retired colours) and Here for you stamp, cuttlebug embossing folder, string and the Bird stamp is in the Nature set by Oxford Impressions. Speaking of which, my 2 new stamp sets  from oxford impressions arrived today, so I’m off to mount them so I can have a play! Til tomorrow….

Anniversary/wedding/engagement

Todays card is a bit of a break from Mothers day cards – I used Kaisercraft Chanteuse patterned papers, Early espresso and blushing bride Stampin up cardstock, and used my cuttlebug to die cut the hearts. I have used this kaisercraft paper a lot this year for Mothers day cards, I love it! Have a queue today waiting to use the computer, so a quick post today .Til tomorrow…..
