This week I have three different cards using the same stacking scalloped rectangle die and a few fussy cut images from the Mintay Floral fussycutting book. Just by changing the colours and the sentiments I got my moneys worth from both the die and Mintay book. I have used this die so many times…I love it! Stay safe..Til next time..
I made a card with not a bit of patterned paper which is very rare for me! I die cut a large rectangle out of the front of my card, and most of the decorating happened on the card i stuck inside the card. I die cut a tree, and punched a few extra branches in a different colour ( which I also added to the ground around the bench). The bench is a stampin up stamp which I heat embossed in gold. I added a cute little ladybug to the bench. and die cut the Thinking of you words. Well the man is still up on the roof stomping about up there, he has had to stop and start as the rain has been affecting his working but we never complain about rain so he just works around it! I have a late start for work today, but i must go and get organised…til tomorrow…..
I was going to put up two cards today as I will probably be missing for a few days as it’s the craft fair this weekend and I will be there with my stall for three days, but this card has a few different techniques on it to explain…Firstly, layers of white, the top layer embossed with a stampin up embossing folder.I die cut the bride and groom from glitter cardstock, die cut the fancy border with a kaisercraft die, also in white, as was the die cut circle) The chipboard heart was foiled with my go press and foil machine, and a little flat backed pearl popped onto it, I made the flower spray by creating the bunch and twisting the stems together. The leaf spray was die cut and I added a white ribbon. Although it looks like I spent quite some time creating the card all these bits and pieces were already on my craft table from other projects so it took no time at all and it is one of my favourite cards! Til tomorrow…..
For this fianl card in the Stampin Up Oh so Succelent series I used the dies, stamps and papers from the collection.I die cut the flowers from stampin up cardstock, and used some brads that I had which matched the colours perfectly. I smudged some calypso coral ink ( stampin up) on a sponge behind the flowers and tied around the whole panel with a piece of dainty lace. I can’t wait to get back to this collection to try some other colour combinations! Til tomorrow…..
