Kaisercraft say Aloha number 1

IMG_7731 (Medium)The other paper collection I bought this month was Kaisercraft Say Aloha. With its bright bright colours and gorgeous flamingos I just couldn’t resist – I am always looking for something colourful at this time of year when it is so cold ,wet and dull here! For this first card I have used a mix of the 12 x 12 papers, 6″ pad and the collectables. I die cut a vellum butterfly,a scalloped circle, and added a kaisercraft paper flower. In the 6′ pad there are a couple of sheets with greetings on them so I die cut one of them out for the sentiment. Today I spent a couple of hours making a few quick cards for the craft fair next weekend, the time has come around so quickly this year, hopefully I have made enough…almost too late now to worry about that!! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft scrapyard 1.

IMG_7719 (Medium)This  month Kaisercraft released a collection called Scrapyard – perfect male themed papers. Here is the first card I made with this paper . I punched out the flags with a stampin up punch, and the rest was just the papers . I added two linen thread bows, and a couple of little copper circle stickers on the collectable greeting. Must be off – a full day of work ahead of me..til tomorrow…..

Back to kaisercraft Pop!

IMG_6521 (Medium)IMG_6522 (Medium)I have made quite a few cards with this paper collection – Kaisercraft Pop!,but it’s a collection that  I pick up, make a few and put it away for a week or two, then get it out again. Not sure why, I think it’s because the cards made with this really have to be clean and simple, and I don’t do clean and simple easily!Anyway here are some that I made a little while ago, and most of the elements on these are from the sticker sheet.Today Nathan and I did some photo’ing of cards, and I prepared a class for July. There is nowhere near enough time for me to get ready for the craft fair in a couple of weeks so my posts my be intermittent for the next couple of weeks. but still, til tomorrow…..

wedding cards.

IMG_6524 (Medium)IMG_6527 (Medium)IMG_6531 (Medium)I will apologise for the quality of the photos first thing – we had terrible trouble with the light – and have discovered that morning is a much better time than afternoon for taking photos in my dining room! The first card I have posted twice as neither photo is really clear, but hopefully with the two of them you get the gist! I heat embossed in silver the stampin up marry me stamp, and did some embossing with a cuttlebug hearts embossing folder. I added prime flowers, leaves, martha stewart leaf punched leaves, and a ribbon bow to finish. the second card is a crossover front card again embossed with the cuttlebug embossing folder, gold heat embossed sentiment, and assorted flowers, leaves and pearls to finish. I will show a couple more wedding cards next time – I had to make a few for a commission. I taught a great class this morning, always good to see my ladies, and now I will have to start thinking about what to cook for tea…Til tomorrow…..

the very special last Bo Bunny Garden journal card….

IMG_3111 (Medium)IMG_3113 (Medium)This is the last two Bo Bunny garden Journal cards I have made – No doubt there will be more at some time, but todays cards are the last for now. The blue one uses a kaisercraft dres form die ( I love it) and the bottom one is an experiment in shabby chic style, so lots of ripping of paper ( so hard for me to do) and distressing and inking, mixed with lace, tulle, ribbon and bling. I made a matching box to fit it into.Today is a great day..i finally have a day where I can spend a great amount of time in the craft room, and just as well as it’s only 4 weeks until my 3 day craft fair, so it’s all about making enough cards to sell!Til tomorrow….

Bo Bunny Garden Journal number 5

IMG_3108 (Medium)there was going to be two cards today, but the computer has something against uploading my photos, I am blaming the weather,it’s been very stormy today, hopefully tomorrow it behaves itself! So, todays card is Bo Bunny garden journal papers, with some assorted flowers, punched leaves, and a bit of bling. I inked all the edges with tea dye distress ink. Til tomorrow….

Bo Bunny Garden Journal 3 and 4…

IMG_3105 (Medium)IMG_3106 (Medium)Two more cards made with Bo Bunny Garden Journal paper collection, and these ones have a distinct vintage style. Loved using lace, pleated ribbon ( stampin up) assorted flowers and some punched leaves and border trims on these ones. The dress form is a kaisercraft die,and I inked around all my edges with tea dye distress ink.Today will be a day of finishing off projects on my craft table I think, as long as I don’t get too disracted! til tomorrow…..

Bo Bunny garden Journal number 2..

IMG_3103 (Medium)Bo Bunny garden Journal 12 x 12 papers, with three layers of layering, the second layer punched along the bottom with a Martha stewart lace doily punch, and just a bit of lace, a ribbon bow and a butterfly die cut from a piece of vellum added to the top!I inked around all my edges with Tea Dye distress ink.I have been experimenting again in the craft room today, this time using my pencil and ruler to come up with some one sheet wonder ideas for a forthcoming class. After tea I will head back in there to see if my plan works!Til tomorrow….

Bo Bunny garden Journal 1.

IMG_3102 (Medium)I have left the Simple stories I Am series for now ( we are only halfway through, but time for a change of pace) And todays card is made with the new Bo Bunny collection, which is nature inspired and right up my alley!I used Stampin Up cardstock , and did a little layering and fussy cutting. I hand rolled the flower, and die cut the leaf flourish with a kaisercraft die. Some inking around some of the layers for definition.day off today, so i had my flu shot – hopefully all protected for this year! Yesterday I had a cortisone injection in my hip, which was most painful – don’t believe anyone who says it isn’t!But on th upside I can feel the benefit already, so hopefully that’s me finished with medical appointments for a while. Off to the craft room for some relaxing time..til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Pitter Patter baby boy…

IMG_0853 (Medium)Before I switched to wedding cards yesterday I was making Baby cards. These two are made with Kaisercraft Pitter patter, but I have only bits and pieces left of this range so when I packed up I added the bits to my Kaisercraft bundle of Joy bits and pieces – the colours are very similar and both ranges will work well together, so the next few baby cards will be a mixture. I am ready for kaisercraft to bring out a new baby range! For these two cards shown I have just added buttons and a small ribbon bow for texture. Still raining here but not complaining! good crafting weather. Til tomorrow…..
