Another 2 cards with old kaisercraft paper….
Here are another 2 cards made with very old Kaisercraft Paper. Again I fussy cut the cake and candles images, and used the rest of the paper for layering. the sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up,stamped twice – once straight onto the paper, and another stamped onto some red paper and cut out. I added kindyglitz and sequins to finish.well, it’s the end of a busy week at work, and a very full and busy class this morning with all my usual lovely ladies, and 3 new ladies new to card making, so I am glad I can relax for the next few days and in between the usual weekend stuff enjoy some quality time in the craft room! Til tomorrow…..
old kaisercraft paper…

The first paper I came across when I started the big clean out was this set from kaisercraft -it must have been the first I bought, and it was before kaisercraft started releasing new collections every month and even naming their collections. It had been so long since I saw it, and new ideas for it came thick and fast.I fussy cut all the cakes, and used ribbon, sequins, lace and kindyglitz to decorate. the stamped sentiment is from Stampin up.that’s it for this morning – must get ready for work,it’s all about easter there this week! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Pop! number 1 and 2

I have made so many cards with this paper (Kaisercraft Pop!) , I have taught a class using it, and I have even done a video blog post (Upcoming) for Paper flourish using it, so I can’t believe I haven’t put any up here on my own blog!these cards are totally self explanatory and only use the papers, and some plain cardstock for matting. The bottom card banners are from the matching sticker sheet.Must goa andf prepare for work…til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft xo…2 and 3..

Kaisercraft xo paper collection. The top card ( which will be mum and Dads anniversary card next month) has a card front cut from a piece of 12 x 12 paper and some use of the matching collectables, and a ribbon bow. the bottom card also uses a card front from the 12 x 12 paper, and I have popped on a die cut flower which was sitting handily on my desk, a pearl and a die cut heart. This one I put an engagement verse inside. The cardstock that I used for this whole range of cards is stampin up pool party.Well, it was back to work yesterday, and everything is falling into the work routine, so I must be off or else I will be late for my second day back at work! til tomorrow…..
Simple Stories the story of us number 1 and 2

I bought just a few sheets of this collection – Simple stories the story of Us ( I think it’s really meant to be used for scrapbooking pages but I saw lots of card making potential) and made so many cards just in one sitting, that I am going to put them up two at a time otherwise we will be going for quite some time !the top card has quite a bit of product, starting with sequins to match the sequin patterned background, doily, die cut hearts, ribbon, kaisercraft mini flowers, martha stewart leaf punch, liquid pearls and a stampin up sentiment. At the other end of the scale the second card only has a few sequins and a couple of leaf punches. The rest of this one was fussy cut bits from the papers.Throughout the range of Cards that you will see I have used metallic cardstock in gold and / or silver for the matting. This afternoon I have been in the craft room planning April classes – I know I am really getting ahead of myself, but I had some new kaisercraft paper – it was released this month – Betsys couture – and I really wanted to use it for a class and April will be the first opportunity to do so. I love this paper, and can’t wait to start creating my own cards with this range! Til tomorrow…
Kaisercraft sandy toes 6 and 7 ..the last..

Here are the last two cards I created with kaisercraft sandy toes.I will revisit the rest of this paper again, once I have finished sorting out that craft room, which may take a little while. The top card uses some 12 x 12 paper and collectables, while the bottom card has the addition of some sequins,a brad, and some prima trim. I love the background paper on the bottom card – makes me feel like you could just dive in and with our weather heating up over the next couple of days finding some cool water to swim in is possibly on the cards!! til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft sandy Toes number 4
Kaisercraft sandy Toes paper and matching collectables. The trim ( I love!) is Prima, and I used a kaisercraft sparklet and stampin up cardstock and bitty banner sentiment. Perfect male card right there!I haven’t been in the craft room today, I went over to Paper flourish this morning to drop off my March classes, and ended up visiting all morning! I was looking for some papers to get a head start on April lessons, but while there a new shipment of Kaisercraft Dies came in. I love their dies as they are so easy to use – the dies cuts just fall out – no struggling, so I bought a couple more to add to my growing collection. I don’t think I will buy any other brand now, Kaisercraft seem to be coming out with new ones every month so there is always a good choice.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Sandy Toes number 3
Kaisercraft Sandy Toes..and a lot of the matching collectables on this one. I inked around all my edges for definition, and added a few sequins.First day of my holidays, and I was going to pick up the new release of Kaisercraft from paper Flourish, but it hasn’t come in yet, so I spent the morning in the craft room finishing off my March classes, and cleaning up my craft table – I can see it again! I have promised myself that I won’t let it get like that again . I have a new 6 drawer cabinet which I have put in the crafting annex to hold all my christmas dies, embossing folders, papers etc, so that may be a job for tomorrow.Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 time to flourish 8 and 9,october.

At first glance IÂ didn’t think I would use any of the October papers in the 12 x 12 pad of Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection, because it was quite halloween themed which we really don’t get into here in australia, but on closer inspection I spied these gorgeous images of scottish thistles. That is my heritage, and I thought if I could make a couple of male orientated cards, that would be my Dad and my uncles cards sorted for this year. So, no ribbon, lace bling or anything too fancy, just a lot of matting, and a little fussy cutting, and strategic placement of said mats, but I really like how they both turned out,and no paper wasted!Til tomorrow….
