Kaisercraft tea Party number 5

IMG_2808 (Medium)This ones a favourite because i do like tea cups on cards, so here I have made a whole stack! The paper is Kaisercraft Tea Party from the 6″ pad, and the tea cups and tag are from the matching collectables pack. I added a doily in keeping with the whole afternoon tea theme, and a few different ribbons to finish. I also rounded all my corners with the corner rounder punch. A very productive day today, all orders up to date, and december lessons  if not made up at least planned out, so now its time to make a few cards to put in my market boxes! til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Tea Party number 4

IMG_2807 (Medium)i am loving the bright colours of this paper _ kaisercraft Tea Party. Here I used the 6″ pad for the bottom layer on stampin up cardstock for the card base. The cupcake is from the collectables pack, and I added another strip of paper down the side with some lace. I added some kindyglitz to the cupcake for some bling. I am busy today making some card for an order, a few more to do, then plan out my december lessons! til tomorrow…..

Lucky Last Bo Bunny Surprise number 13

IMG_2967 (Medium)

Here is the lucky last Bo Bunny Surprise card. Lots of Stampin Up cardstock on this one, and stampin Up embossing folder too. I fussy cut the images and star strip from the bo bunny collection, and added them all to the card. Just needed a bit of kindyglitz on the bow to finish. Today I have been putting together some card kits to sell on my Fair stall – we will see how they go – if there is enough interest this is something I might get into as I have enjoyed myself doing them. Tomorrow morning will be photo time, hopefully we have some natural sunlight available for that – its been lovely and wet here the last couple of days – we never complain about rain! Graphic 45 a place in time 8

IMG_8733 (Medium)I have been on a bit of a hunt through my photo files looking for the card ( well two actually) that I made for a 40th retro birthday order that I had, and it appears that I haven’t got photos of them although Nathan and I are both sure that we took them. I  still have one  of the cards so the next time the camera is out we will take a photo so that I can post it! So to todays card – This is Graphic 45 paper – the images are from a Place In Time, and the background is from an older graphic 45 collection – the good thing about Graphic 45 paper is that most of the collections do have pieces that will match with other collections. The bigger image is matted on Kaisercard, and I found some trim in my ribbon drawer that matches perfectly with the blue and orange tones.Taught a class last night, and this morning – lovely ladies, and had a great time. This afternoon was a little nap time to catch up on lost sleep, and now I am ready for the weekend! Til tomorrow….

Botanical Odyssey

IMG_8735 (Medium)Early post today, as I missed last nights post as I couldn’t move with a sore leg – all is well today though and I have spent a lovely morning in the craft room. Todays card is made using kaisercraft Botanical Odyssey paper pad and collectables – my favourite recent range release – it is right up my crafting alley – love anything to do with nature.I just added a kaisercraft bling strip on this one, and stamped it with a hero arts happy birthday stamp , and sponged in Vintage photo ink around the edges of everything!I am now making a 40th birthday card, for an order, but have hit a snag deciding what my lady meant when she said retro – to me thats 60’s, but I’m thinking she might have meant 70’s and that’s two different eras with two different styles – I’ll just go back into the craft room and create until something feels right! Til tomorrow…

Everything Stampin Up today!

Stampin Up Sycamore Street

IMG_3661 (Medium)Here is a complete change of colour, and I love it! Everything used in todays card is from stampin Up – starting with the cardstock which is Island Indigo. the papers, and ribbon and button pack are from the Sycamore street range, and I die cut the label from Apothecary Accents Framelits. I paper pierced around the frame and stamped the sentiment in Rich razzleberry ink, with a stamp from the perfectly penned set. I punched a couple of different sized circles to make the flower in the corner, and threaded my button with some linen thread.I taught alovely class this morning – thank you to all the ladies who braved the horrendous heat to share the morning with me!I am now deciding whether to go and do my grocery shopping this evening or leave it until tomorrow night, but I believe it’s going to be just as hot tomorrow so I guess I should just go and get it over and done with! til tomorrow….

October Afternoon Farm Girl 6 and 7

IMG_1173 (Medium)For these two cards I used a couple of different papers in the October Afternoon farm girl range. I fussy cut the flowers out of one sheet, and teamed them up with the gingham papers and dots papers. I die cut a spellbinders scalloped rectangle, and used the resulting frame ( the rectangle will appear on another card soon) and added buttons, ric rac, seam binding, bakers twine, and a bit of bling and kindyglitz to finish. the end of the working week for me , and a couple of days off to play with my new hexagon spellbinders and embossing folders – can’t wait!
